If the qualities of the guru and disciple are in accordance with the scriptures, and the empowerment is bestowed as it should be, then through the power of the transference of blessings, the disciple will generate the wisdom of the meaning of empowerment. However, in the degenerate age, this will not happen, so the guru and disciple who practice with faith should ensure that the rituals of empowerment and the various parts of the rituals do not become mere simplified practices or crude behaviors, but are put into practice. The secret empowerment and wisdom empowerment should also be bestowed relying on nectar and consorts, paying attention to visualization, introducing through experience and words of wisdom, and striving to generate experience in the continuum, thereby making the continuum a suitable vessel, not breaking the vows, and through practicing the path of generation stage and completion stage, even if the potential to generate the wisdom of the meaning of empowerment arises in one's own continuum, empowerment must still be obtained. Therefore, the standard for obtaining empowerment is that the wisdom of the meaning of empowerment arises in the continuum, or that it is made into the potential for it to definitely arise, and that is obtaining empowerment. Therefore, if even a little certainty about the wisdom of the meaning of empowerment has not arisen, and only the mere appearance of empowerment is performed, then it is devoid of essence. At the end of these, all the points of vows and precepts are proclaimed, they are made to promise to accept them, and offerings are made, and a feast gathering is held as a token of gratitude. Reciting auspicious words, dedicating merit, etc., are the concluding rituals. Without waiting for countless eons, the Vajrayana, which actualizes Buddhahood in one lifetime, the extraordinary path that appears as an ornament of desirable qualities, how fortunate to encounter such a supreme path. However, due to being influenced by others in the degenerate age, all the profound essential points of the path of maturation and liberation are obscured, and the scattered behavior of merely reciting words as Dharma makes the image of the teachings remain, and the mind feels sad. Even so, if there are some who rely on a virtuous guru, extract the essence of the key instructions, and practice properly, then I will be happy to serve in this way. Therefore, urged by the command of a virtuous friend, I have written down the essence of what is to be expressed in few words. I confess to the deities and gurus any faults of incorrect explanations and excessive explanations of hidden meanings. By whatever accumulation of merit there is, may all beings encounter the unerring good path of Vajrayana, may their continuums be ripened by the four empowerments of maturation, and
