This is the sixth chapter. Then, the King of Intelligence asked the primordial, general essence Buddha: "After the fundamental confusion is completely cut off, how are the methods and key instructions for realization taught?" Shakyamuni Buddha instructed the retinue: "Listen, all you retinues, to the explanation of secret mantras through coded language. Look at what is in the space of the sky." When he said this, the retinue looked into the space of the sky and saw nothing at all. Then the Buddha instructed them: "Not seeing is seeing." The Buddha instructed the retinue: "Is the rainbow that appears in the sky an actual entity, or does it appear in the sky itself?" The retinue looked and reported: "It is clear but has no substance; it appears in the sky." The Buddha further instructed: "Look at the person born of Laka. For a weary traveler who has come a long way, there are two empty houses ahead. Which of the two doors should he open and go through? The guest goes to a terrifying place without an escort. Is he an enemy or a friend? One person walks, two people hinder him. Where should he turn back to first? Do the eyes of the blind open, and does the sun rise in the darkness? Is the heavy burden of the prison of flesh released, and does the mantra take effect on the poison? Does salt dissolve in water, and does the arrow hit the vital point? Does the ointment that turns stone into gold heal the sick person? Is the tree uprooted, and does the orphan meet his mother? Does he absorb the essence of food, and does he find the pulse of treasure?" So he said. From the Tantra of the Pile of Precious Essence of Treasures, the seventh chapter, which teaches secret mantras through coded language. Then, the King of Intelligence asked the primordial, general essence Buddha: "What is the essential view of the supreme place?" The Buddha instructed the retinue: "The perfectly pure, radiantly clear mandala is the most supreme. The impartial, primordial purity, the non-existent deity is the most supreme. The offering, praise, and confession that transcend thought and are without action are the most supreme. The true empowerment of primordial purity is the most supreme. The feast gathering in which appearance and existence are inseparable is the most supreme. The gate of entry that is effortless and spontaneous is the most supreme. The meditation in which there is no grasping and no arising of mind anywhere is the most supreme. The view that is without any desire or support is the most supreme. The practice in which neither mind nor consciousness flows anywhere is the most supreme. The conduct that is without attachment to any memory or awareness is the most supreme. The experience that does not involve any knowledge is the most supreme. The result that is non-existent, primordially pure, and beyond thought is the most supreme. The ground, path, and fruit of aspiration are the most supreme. Because there is no searching, accomplishment, or action, the activity is the most supreme.

O! All phenomena, existence and non-existence, are completely perfected, Supreme Great Perfection! Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Treasure Heart, Heap of Jewels, the eighth chapter, which is the chapter on showing the supreme. Then, the King of Awareness, to the non-existent Buddha, the essence of all, asked, "What are the name and the entrustment seal?" The Teacher then spoke to the assembly: "All varieties arise and are gathered into the essence. Gather the essence into the Treasure Heart Tantra. Since all needs and desires arise from it, gather it into the Jewel Tantra. Because the essence of meaning is heaped together, gather it into the Tantra of the Heap of Jewels. The fortunate one to whom this tantra is entrusted is one who has a good lineage, is patient, and has great faith, is respectful, keeps vows, and has wisdom. This tantra is entrusted to such a one. One who has no vows, is arrogant, and deceitful, do not give it to such a one." Thus it was said. From the Treasure Heart, Heap of Jewels Tantra, the ninth chapter, which is the chapter on showing the name and the vessel. The King of the Treasure Heart, Heap of Jewels Tantra is complete. Spoken by Orgyen Padmasambhava and translated by the translator Kawa Paltseg, it is the instruction given to King Trisong Detsen. Treasure Seal. Profound Seal. Entrustment Seal.
