The Mañjuśrī Samudāya Tantra. In Sanskrit: Śrī Mañju Samudāya Tantra. In Tibetan: The Mañjuśrī Samudāya Tantra. Homage to Mañjuśrī, the Wisdom Hero! Thus have I heard at one time, when the Tathagata was dwelling in Akanishtha, at the time when Buddhas and sentient beings were turning their backs on each other, to the Vajrasattva of the retinue, the teachings of Black Yama arose again, gathering with the bliss of collecting corpses. From the Mañjuśrī Samudāya Tantra, the first chapter, the Introduction. Then Vajrasattva asked: Kye, kye, Teacher Samantabhadra! In the great meaning of the Great Perfection, the meaning of empowerment, as well as the practice of the path, the accumulation of gatherings, the purification of obscurations, vows, mandalas, the contemplation of deities, the recitation of mantras, samadhi, generosity, ethics, and aspirations, please explain the meaning of these. From the Mañjuśrī Samudāya Tantra, the second chapter, the Inquiry. Samantabhadra spoke: Listen, great Vajrasattva! There is no need for empowerment, the vase, the means, and the secret empowerment, and all are included in the empowerment of words. Knowing one's own body as a vase, this is the first empowerment. Combining awareness and appearance into two, this is the second supreme empowerment. Offering the meaning of the wisdom body, this is the third empowerment. Gathering all words into meaning, this is the fourth empowerment. The substances of empowerment are perfectly complete in oneself, and appearance is not left out of the realm of substance. Thus he spoke. From the Mañjuśrī Samudāya Tantra, the third chapter, the Empowerment. The meaning of not needing to practice the path is this. Enjoying the five elements, this is the path of accumulation. That itself arises as the nature of clear light, this is the path of union. Clear wisdom without dualistic appearance, this is the path of seeing. These abide without duality, this is the ultimate path. Thus he spoke. From the Mañjuśrī Samudāya Tantra, the fourth chapter, the Path. The meaning of not traversing the bhumis and paths is this. There is no need to traverse the bhumis, they are perfectly complete in oneself. Knowing equality, all the bhumis are equal. Abiding in the meaning of non-traversal, this is surpassing the bhumis. If one desires to traverse the bhumis, there is no time to reach them, and there is no method to surpass them. For example, like a deer chasing a mirage.

So it is said. From the Tantra of the Assembly of Manjushri, the fifth chapter, the chapter on Earth. The meaning of not accumulating assemblies is here. There are two meanings to accumulating assemblies: The accumulation of cause and the accumulation of result. The cause is the spontaneously accomplished bindu, The result is the wisdom of omniscience. In the Dharmakaya, which is non-dual, The two accumulations are perfectly complete in two aspects, Therefore, one does not accumulate assemblies, it is complete from the beginning. Because there is no dualistic appearance, there is nothing to accumulate. So it is said. From the Tantra of the Assembly of Manjushri, the sixth chapter, the chapter on Accumulation. The meaning of purifying obscurations is here. There are also four kinds of obscurations: Because awareness is accomplished as the Nirmanakaya, There is no obscuration of knowledge for it. Because appearance is self-appearing as the Sambhogakaya, There is no obscuration of afflictions to be purified. Because there is no dualistic appearance in the bindu, There is no obscuration of karma to be purified. Because attachment is self-born wisdom, There is no obscuration of habitual tendencies to be purified. Because everything is the bindu Dharmakaya, Where are the four obscurations purified? The place of purification and the cause of purification, If one practices with duality, it is not Yangti. All are mistaken for the lower vehicles. To cut off the place of error, this meaning is taught. So it is said. From the Tantra of the Assembly of Manjushri, the seventh chapter, the chapter on Purifying Obscurations. The meaning of not needing to protect vows is here. Because it is pervasive with the Dharmakaya, because it is one, The vow to protect is Samaya(藏文:ས་མ་ཡ།,梵文天城体:समय,梵文罗马拟音:samaya,汉语字面意思:Vow). The arrangement of a hundred thousand sections is words, Because it does not rely on words, it is self-born, Because they are all gathered into the bindu, There is nothing at all to protect. If there are two, the protector and the protected, Then it is not Yangti Nakpo. Because it is the object and the subject, It is mistaken for the group of lower vehicles. Therefore, the meaning of being protected from the beginning, this meaning is taught. So it is said. From the Tantra of the Assembly of Manjushri, the eighth chapter, the chapter on Protecting Vows. The meaning of not needing to generate a mandala is here. Center, periphery, wheel, supreme, Crescent moon, jewel, triangle, All appear outwardly from themselves. To hold these as supreme Is the desire of the lower vehicles. Yangti Nakpo thinks like this: The outer mandala is self-appearing, The inner mandala is self-born, The secret mandala is non-dual. The mandala of Yangti is taught as: Everything is enlightened from the beginning. Knowing it to be so, there is no need to generate it. So it is said. From the
