The Essence of the Hundred Thousand Verses on Wisdom The Essence of the Hundred Thousand Verses on Wisdom ༈ From the Hundred Thousand Verses: Shariputra, what is called Prajnaparamita, the Prajnaparamita, is this: It is without attachment to all phenomena. Shariputra, bodhisattvas without attachment are those who have reached the other shore of Prajnaparamita, and they also quickly realize the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. All phenomena from form to the marks of excellence, See them as distinct conventional truths, not ultimate truths. The ultimate truth is without attachment, like illusion and dream. Those who hold onto views, their minds are bound by ignorance. All phenomena are merely names, without true establishment. Attachment to them is grasping at characteristics, both conceptual thought and attachment. The imputation of phenomena has no arising or ceasing. The name does not exist between inside and outside. If one understands imputation, there is no attachment to phenomena. If one clings to the name, there is no direct realization of existence or non-existence. Seeing both the real and the unreal is not the gateway to liberation. Why? Because form and so on do not exist, they are unobtainable. The characteristics of afflictions, in one there are forms, sounds, and so on. Whatever is an affliction is not liberated. Thus, without attachment, that is wisdom. Asked by the power of wisdom to subdue completely. Wisdom is without an object. If wisdom has an object, it will become ignorance. Thus, the essence and appendix of the Hundred Thousand Verses on Wisdom, this was made by Paltrul Rinpoche. The Essence of the Hundred Thousand Verses on Wisdom
