I prostrate to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard at one time, the Blessed One was in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, in the Garden of Anathapindika. Together with a great Sangha of thirteen hundred and fifty monks, and many great Bodhisattvas. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the monks: Monks, there is a goddess named the Radiant Goddess, she goes before the sun and moon, and she cannot be seen. She cannot be seized. She cannot be bound. She cannot be obstructed. She cannot be transgressed. She cannot be deluded. She cannot be cut by a sword. She cannot be beheaded. She cannot be burned. She cannot be incinerated. She will not fall into the hands of enemies. Monks, whoever knows the name of that Radiant Goddess, he also cannot be seen. He cannot be seized. He cannot be bound. He cannot be obstructed.
