However, if such things have not occurred immediately, it is likely due to the natural aging process, where all aspects gradually decline, leading to a decrease in the ability for virtuous practice. This is the more probable reason. Nevertheless, if the effort to maintain the naked awareness of daytime virtuous practice, like clear light, has not diminished, then even if one does not fully grasp dreams, it is a minor issue. If the actual daytime practice weakens, then there is no way to grasp dreams, and even occasional grasping is useless. Therefore, it is most important to focus on unwavering awareness itself. In this state, all actions, speech, eating, drinking, walking, and so on during the day should be regarded as being of the nature of dreams. Furthermore, one should not allow the appearances in dreams to arise as confusion but should think of grasping the practice. If one maintains this unbroken mindfulness, one will also grasp dreams, and one will also achieve the goal through virtuous practice. Even if one grasps dreams, if one does not attain the essence of practice, it is meaningless. Therefore, focus primarily on the practice itself." , "english_translation": "Before going to sleep, visualize a five-colored light sphere the size of a peacock feather at your heart.

Even if you don't grasp it completely, don't be distressed or lazy. Understand that all appearances during the day are dreams, and unite the body and mind, and the supports, as inseparable. If you continuously maintain this focus before falling asleep, even if you don't immediately grasp it, it is necessary for clearing away the obscuration of ignorance. Because there are immeasurable benefits, please continue to strive in this way.
