You are the captain of those who desire liberation, possessing the boat of scripture and reasoning, Raising high the great banner of altruistic goodness, Those who desire to obtain the treasure of flawless essence, Should enter this treasury of tantras (Ati). From the great ocean of wrong views (ignorance of the definitive meaning), The jewels of words ridiculed by the wise, Are led by inferior guides, And displayed among the blind. In the clear sky free from clouds of merit (tainted by sectarian bias), The lord of the seven horses of evil sectarian bias, Driven by the vehicle of attachment and aversion, Shines brightly in the center of the four unknown continents. That beautiful young woman who speaks well (Ati), Enjoys many precious ornaments, Captivating the minds of others with skillful means and wisdom, She is the connoisseur who views the silver mirror of the profound path. She is the one mother of all secret practice yogis, Those who desire to see the beautiful woman of innate mind, Pierce the eyes of wrong view with the needle of faith, Distinguished by the king of good doctors, Enter the path of joyful diligence in virtue, Accumulate the goodness of light in this Samten Ling. Most people in the degenerate age hold evil views, Being outside the vessel of correct view, Completely ignorant of the meaning of innate awareness, Wandering in darkness like a twice-born insect. Not bound by the attachment to self and others' views, With pure intention to place all beings in the supreme vehicle, From the depths of the heart, have faith in the meaning of the essence, Briefly stated the guru's teachings.
