The Condensed Path. The Condensed Path. The Condensed Path is complete. Om Svasti. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) May there be auspiciousness! Here, concerning the condensed order of the paths, it is the order of the seven branches. That is, the complete Buddhas residing in the ten directions, together with their sons, who benefit beings, possessing minds like the sky, I prostrate with devotion to all. From this day forward, always, may I and all sentient beings take refuge in the supreme guide and nirvana, and in the assembly of noble ones. With flowers, incense, lamps, fragrances, various foods, music, and garments, and with the immeasurable virtues done and to be done, I make offerings to the guide and his sons. I confess separately all the misdeeds, such as the ten non-virtues and the five without interval, committed by myself, who am drowning in the great ocean of beginningless samsara, and by my limitless mothers. I rejoice in the virtues done and to be done by individual beings who have not entered the path, as well as by stream-enterers, once-returners, non-returners, arhats, self-realized Buddhas, Buddhas, and their sons. I request the hundreds of thousands of victorious ones who desire peace to remain as long as existence lasts, until it is destroyed. In order to see the joyful garden of peace, for those who are exhausted by the poison of afflictions and tormented by suffering, and who are attached to the holes of bad smells, O Bhagavan, grant the nectar of the sacred Dharma. May all the guides of the ten directions consider me. From this day forward, I will protect my impermanent and limitless mothers and will not harm them in any way. I will not remain in this ocean of samsara, nor will I go to the solitary mountains of peace. In order to attain enlightenment for all beings without exception, I will definitely attain unsurpassed enlightenment. By doing this, may I clearly see unsurpassed enlightenment with all virtues. The nature of all things is like an illusion. Any yogi who desires to realize this should meditate in this way. Whether dwelling in a city or a monastery, without losing the mind of enlightenment, one should always practice the unsurpassed conduct of enlightenment with the mind. In this way, a household is a place of many faults, always a place of sinful deeds, full of flattery, fighting, and deceit, and always a place of oppression. Alas, when will I be liberated from this?

Thus. The wise one seeks a solitary place, abandoning the house full of faults, as if eaten by ghosts. He goes to a harmless forest, whether he has heard much or little, all the princes always diligently practice meditation, children are content here with just hearing, that is as decadent as a livelihood. Then, the wise one, relying on a virtuous friend, seeks the supreme Dharma, and after obtaining the treasure of supreme instructions, goes to the edge of the forest, a place never trodden by frivolous people. That best of men, having arrived there, abides with an upright body, holding the mind with the mind, and here gathers the senses. When many discursive thoughts weaken the mind, they should be calmed like ocean waves. When the mind is distracted, it should be tamed with mindfulness. Remembering the enjoyment of sensual pleasures, at that time craving wealth and the body, conditioned phenomena are like a fleeting dancer, like seasonal clouds and lightning. Samsara is like a snake devouring a corpse, alas, I dwell in distraction. Furthermore, hatred, desire, delusion, these great terrifying thieves, should be destroyed by the power of love and dependent arising, and the meditation on ugliness. The mind is like a door that has been closed, unmoved by the wind of discursive thoughts, not delighting in desires, obtaining the bliss of extreme taming. Then, from the Great Vehicle, the Prajnaparamita that is spoken of, arising from that, the wise one practices with the possession of instructions. Like the sprout of a sala tree and a rainbow, dependent arising is so rare and wonderful. All dharmas are empty due to truth, one should repeatedly meditate on such a nature. With the possession of mindfulness and awareness, one should maintain vigilance in all activities. For all things, in any case, the mind does not waver and distinguishes the dharmas. Then, furthermore, does the wise one live at home? Or it can be lived on the border, it can be settled in meditation, it can be used for sensual pleasure, whether it is a long-term learner or a beginner, for the time being, practice compassion for all sentient beings. For those who think they will be killed no matter what, they should be regarded as virtuous friends, fathers and mothers. If it is not understood, then change the image and practice, or

For the time being, one should cultivate loving-kindness, and afterwards, one must diligently cultivate compassion, otherwise the mind of enlightenment will not grow. Therefore, those who wish to place all sentient beings in enlightenment should become accustomed to compassion and diligently strive to endure harm and suffering, and gradually, they should truly train in the six perfections. Furthermore, those bodhisattvas who train by training in compassion should make offerings to, remember, attend to, and meditate on the noble Avalokiteśvara. The Condensed Essence of the Path is complete. By the virtue of my writing this, may all sentient beings quickly attain the unsurpassed enlightenment, and may they quickly obtain lasting happiness. Written by the monk Kunga Nyingpo. Mangalam! Checked. Printed by Tsultrim Zangpo.
