The Sadhana of Glorious Vajra Tara Arising from the Vajra Tent is as follows: From within emptiness, in the center of the protective circle and palace, on an eight-petaled lotus, from the TĀṂ (ཏཱཾ，tāṃ，seed syllable) on the moon, one's self becomes Vajra Tara, golden in color, face yellow, right side black, back white, left side red, possessing three peaceful eyes, seated in vajra posture, blazing with red light. The four right hands hold a vajra, arrow, white conch, and the supreme generosity mudra; the four left hands hold an utpala flower, bow, iron hook, and lasso. On the eight petals, in the east is Flower Tara, white, holding a garland of flowers; in the south is Incense Tara, black, holding an incense burner; in the west is Lamp Tara, yellow, holding a lamp bowl; in the north is Perfume Tara, red, holding a conch shell of fragrant incense. All of them are seated in the vajra posture, exceedingly peaceful. In the east gate is White Hook Woman, in the south gate is Black Lasso Woman, in the west gate is Yellow Chain Woman, in the north gate is Red Bell Woman, all possessing implements that match their names. Above is Yellow Namgyalma (Vijaya), holding a wheel; below is Blue Nodjema (Vighnantaka), holding a snake lasso. These six are slightly wrathful, with the left hand in the threatening mudra, the left hand extended, seated in an extended posture, adorned with tiger skin and snake ornaments. In the four corners are vases, Mount Meru, fire hearths, and victory banners. The family lord is the five families, with Akshobhya as the chief.
