The Sadhana of Manjushri, King of Speech. The Sadhana of Manjushri, King of Speech. The Sadhana of Manjushri, King of Speech, is as follows: On a lotus and moon seat, from (Tibetan: མུཾཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मुṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: mum, Literal meaning: Mum) transform oneself into Manjushri, like refined gold. One face, two arms, making the gesture of teaching the Dharma at the heart. The left hand holds a blue উৎপala flower, blooming near the ear, upon which rests a book. Adorned with three tufts of matted hair. Above a blue lion with reddish-yellow mane facing upwards. Seated on a lotus and moon seat with the left leg extended in a playful manner. As it is said in the "Thousand Oaths," but if it were so, it would be inconvenient for the hand of Yama, the Lord of Death, to touch, so extending the left leg is indeed the intention of the text. In the lower left corner is the black Yama, the Ender of Death. The right hand touches the left side of the shin of the noble Manjushri's foot. The left hand holds a staff in the shape of Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om). Adorned on the head with a garland of dry skulls. Completely in the attire of a wrathful deity. The family lord is Akshobhya. The mantra is: Om, Dharma Dhatu, Vagishvari, Mum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་དྷརྨ་དྷཱ་ཏུ་ཝཱ་གཱི་ཤྭ་རི་མུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃdharmadhātuvāgīśvarimuṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ dharmadhātu vāgīśvari muṃ, Literal meaning: Om, Dharma Realm, Lord of Speech, Mum).
