The Method of Manjushri. The Method of Manjushri. The eldest son of all Buddhas, the supreme Manjushri of all, with reverence, I prostrate and write the method of accomplishment, which is greatly wondrous. If it can be accomplished, then offer the mandala first. In any case, cultivate the aspiration of Bodhicitta and emptiness. Recite the mantra of emptiness. On the lotus moon in one's heart, from the radiating light of the syllable DHĪḤ (དྷཱིཿ,梵文天城体:धीः,梵文罗马拟音:dhīḥ,English meaning: Dhih), oneself, transforms into the noble Manjushri, with the color of saffron youth. The two hands make the gesture of teaching the Dharma at the heart, the left hand holds a stem of an উৎপala flower marked with a book. Residing in a playful posture, adorned with Akshobhya on the head, with five tufts or a hairstyle of matted locks, adorned with silk and jewels. At the foot is the wrathful Yama, the Lord of Death, dark blue, with a garland of skulls. The right (foot) relies on the foot of Manjushri or prostrates, the left hand holds a twenty-horned thoba, complete with wrathful attire. Invoke the wisdom being, bless the three places. Namaḥ samanta buddhānāṃ (ན་མཿས་མནྟ་བུདྡྷཱ་ནཱཾ།,梵文天城体:नमः समन्त बुद्धानां,梵文罗马拟音:namaḥ samanta buddhānāṃ,English meaning: Homage to all Buddhas!). In between sessions, read the sutra called "The Abode of Manjushri," recite the "One Hundred and Eight Names of Manjushri," and practice whatever Dharma one can. Wise ones, may all rejoice, this is the essence of the practice. If one does not practice, what is the use of elaborating? If one practices, even if brief, one will accomplish the supreme meaning. From the eight close sons, the method of Manjushri's practice. . . The Method of Manjushri.
