Instructions to Dokhampa Sherab Pal Instructions to Dokhampa Sherab Pal Om Svasti. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སྭཱ་སྟི།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ svāsti, Chinese literal meaning: Om, auspicious!). Liberated from the proliferation of the four extremes. The very reality of the non-dual wisdom of great bliss. I bow to the feet of the Vajra Holder Lama. Instructions I will explain a little. When you obtain the rare human body, strive for meaningful methods. When you meet a qualified master, maintain unwavering devotion and respect. When you receive profound instructions, practice diligently with one-pointed effort. When you encounter the essence of definitive meaning, do not be attached to the deception of provisional meaning. When favorable conditions effortlessly gather, do not be carried away by the distractions of desire. Thinking about the uncertainty of when death will come, generate renunciation and weariness. Like a bubble dissolving into water, appearances and emptiness are just illusory deceptions. There is no need for disheartening suffering, understand it as the nature of reality and let go of sorrow. The suffering of the six realms of samsara is like appearing to be sick in a dream. Although you need to generate the thought of wanting liberation, do not have clinging to reality and fear. The ripening of the results of virtue and non-virtue is like an illusion creating an illusion. Although it is just an unreal magic, as long as the confusion of conventional reality has not ceased, the interdependence of cause and effect is not deceiving, so please be meticulous in what you accept and reject. All sentient beings, kind parents of the six realms, wander in samsara because they do not recognize their own nature. For the way your own mind binds itself, compassion naturally arises effortlessly. When you look at the self-nature of love and compassion, compassion, the giver, and the receiver all disappear into the realm of reality. From that realm of reality, compassion vividly appears, unconditioned compassion is the supreme of Dharma. All the dharmas of ground, path, and fruition, are primordially unborn, there is no need for artificial fabrication, so, 'nothing whatsoever' is the supreme of view. Spontaneously arising activity is unceasing, there is no need to accept or reject with conceptual thought, in the self-liberated, vast yoga, not falling into commonness is the key of conduct. In that which has no reality whatsoever, rest in equipoise without meditation or distraction. Whatever appearances arise do not stop, the key of meditating on many as one taste. Without being bound by the ropes of hope and fear, this spontaneously accomplished, naturally perfect three bodies, is not other than your own mind, so, without effort, without doing.
