Da Bao Fuzang TD2654 From the Three Sections of Dzogchen: Empowerment of the Peaceful Yidam of the Outer Mandala Empowerment of the Peaceful Yidam of the Outer Mandala from the Three Sections of Dzogchen Om! Empowerment of the Peaceful Yidam of the Outer Mandala from the Three Sections of Dzogchen. Namo Guru! For the empowerment of the peaceful practice of the outer mandala, a mandala should be drawn properly, and a vase filled with essence should be prepared with all necessary items. Prepare the five Buddha crowns, vajra and bell, and the deity's image, guru's robes, etc. Follow the usual sadhana offering ritual, and invite the disciples to be initiated to the front. Perform the outer entry and other rituals in detail. The disciples offer gifts, join their palms, and pray: 'Emaho! May the Buddhas, gurus, and bodhisattvas heed us! Please accept us into the great mandala of the Vajradhatu and lead us to maturity!' The guru says: 'Om! To enter and mature in this great mandala of the Vajradhatu is a rare opportunity. Rejoice in your diligent entry. Children, come, be sure to keep your vows!' The disciples confess their sins, accumulate merit, and make offerings: 'Emaho! May all the Buddhas and bodhisattvas heed us! We vow to uphold all the precepts of the Buddhas, and we will not abandon them even at the cost of our lives!' The guru says: 'If so, then you may be admitted into the Vajradhatu and brought to maturity. Be sure to guard this great vow! This vow will help you attain great accomplishment. Therefore, do not transgress the vow!' Om Vajra Samaya Hum (Tibetan: ཨོྃ་བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra samaya hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Samaya, Hum). Place the vajra on the head. Visualize the disciple as Vairochana at the crown chakra, Lam (Tibetan: ལཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: laṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable) at the throat, Bam (Tibetan: བཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable) at the heart, Ram (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable) at the navel, and Yam (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: yaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable) at the soles of the feet. From each seed syllable, radiate light, inviting the Buddhas filling the sky to descend and merge into each seed syllable, transforming into light filling the entire body. Abeshaya Ah Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: ā be śa ya ā ā, Literal Chinese meaning: Enter). Play musical instruments to stabilize this visualization. Perform the vase empowerment: 'Hum! The precious vase is a magnificent palace, in which the Buddhas and bodhisattvas reside. Now empower the fortunate disciple, may they realize the wisdom of emptiness and appearance!' Kalasha Abhisincha Hum (Tibetan: ཀ་ལཱ་ཤ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: kalā śa a bhi ṣi ñca hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Vase, Abhisheka, Hum). If detailed, the names of each deity can be added for empowerment. Holding the crown: 'Hum! This precious and beautiful crown is the crest jewel of all Buddhas. Now empower the fortunate disciple, may they realize the wisdom of equality!' Ratna Mukutam Abhisincha Tram (Tibetan: རཏྣ་མུ་ཀུ་ཊཾ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཏྲཱཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: ratna mu ku ṭaṃ a bhi ṣi ñca trāṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Jewel, Crown, Abhisheka, Tram). Grant the vajra: 'Hum! This is the indestructible vajra.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
