Homage to the Three Jewels! I, Padmasambhava, In order to restore the local deities of Tibet, And to prevent wars in the country, Therefore, I teach the method of employing the local deities as supports. Choose auspicious days and times in spring and autumn, As the time to begin the practice. First, to suppress the local demons: In the center of the Lingam (male organ), draw 'Traiḥ (ཏྲིཿ，梵文：Traiḥ，Traiḥ，measurement)', Around it, write the wandering local demons, Suppress them with 'Khug Dzah Rbad Sod'. At the foot of the mountain, place the homa stove and the Lingam. From the peak of that local deity's mountain, Take a stone that has not seen the sky, Draw 'Traiḥ (ཏྲིཿ，梵文：Traiḥ，Traiḥ，measurement)', decorate with jewels, medicine, and colored silk, Whatever the name of the great local deity is, Decorate the beginning and end with Oṃ and Svāhā.
