Ka sa pa na ya ma ye svāhā! By reciting this mantra a hundred times and applying it to medicine, it is effective. Samaya! If a domestic animal is sick, recite the mantra under the threshold or, if there is no threshold, under the left thumb: Oṃ hrī stoṅ byol byol hrī stoṅ byol svāhā! Mixing this mantra with urine and feeding it is effective. Samaya! If a domestic animal is poisoned, mixing Lcim rtsa, Bul tog, and Thar nur and feeding it is effective. Samaya! If a cow does not give milk, then for its protection: Recite on a protection cord: Oṃ he tsug ni gi tsug ni lo brgya de de ni ye svāhā! If the horn is injured, or the buttocks are swollen, or the tail is not trimmed, tying this protection cord is effective. Samaya! To protect fields from deer, gazelles, rabbits, and mice: Take sand from Gtsang kha (Rtag tu ngu), recite this mantra one hundred thousand times, and scatter it wherever needed in the fields, etc.: Oṃ āḥ hūṃ! Tsog gi rta pa le! Tsog gi lo ka lo! A la ta la! Tsa la ye svāhā! If Rtag tu ngu is frequently applied to the body, even lice can be killed. Samaya! To protect from the harm of wild animals, recite: Oṃ ru tri pa tri ye svāhā! Or, scatter grain on the mantra, or write it on a willow tree and insert it into the field, it is effective. Samaya! Now, the most supreme of all Za syllables, the 'Universally Destroying' Za syllable, will be shown: Write it on Chinese paper with Chinese ink: Ḍhaḥ naḥ dhaḥ naḥ kuḥ dhaḥ naḥ maḥ dhaḥ naḥ The substance is, in one's own lineage, when performing longevity accomplishment and protection reversal, apply nectar dharma medicine; for other situations, for planets, use white incense; for kings, use guggul incense; for nāgas, use musk; for btsan spirits, use red sandalwood; for gnyan spirits, use five garuda feathers; for poison, use peacock feathers; for weapons, use red lotus; for Yama, use black juniper, etc., according to the type of disease or evil spirit, use the corresponding antidote. If not available, then use this Za syllable. The consecration is: In front, invite the samaya beings, wisdom beings, peaceful ones, wrathful ones, vidyādharas, ḍākinīs, and their retinues, and then dissolve them. Consecrate by reciting the heart mantras of the peaceful and wrathful deities one hundred times. The time to use the Za syllable is, when performing longevity accomplishment and protection, use it when the sun rises; for other situations, use it at dusk. Samaya! Gya gya gya! By establishing the foundation with pure bodhicitta, by diligence, generate the power of the mantra, benefit all beings near and far, and being without laziness is the path. Samaya! Gya gya gya! May the wrathful lord of life protect! Samaya! Ter gya! Treasure seal! Sbas gya! Hidden seal! Zab gya! Profound seal! Gsang gya! Secret seal! Gtad gya! Entrusted seal! Gya gya gya!
