Collected Teachings of Master Taranatha JT74: A celebratory song sung by Gyalkhampa Taranatha at Chokor Ding (chos 'khor sdings) on the night of the tenth day, during the first watch, at the feast. 1-747 ༄༅། །A celebratory song sung by Gyalkhampa Taranatha at Chokor Ding (chos 'khor sdings) on the night of the tenth day, during the first watch, at the feast. ༄༅། །Namo Gurave. According to the thoughts of sentient beings, Acting for the benefit of beings through activities, With a mind free from conceptualization and with great compassion, I pray to the Lama, the emanation body. Though the mind does not move from great bliss, The body, wind, and mind are adorned with marks and signs, He performs the benefit of those pure beings to be tamed, I pray to the Lord, the enjoyment body. The essence is the nature of emptiness, The skill of knowing how it is and how many, 1-748 Primordially free from all elaborations, I pray to the Lama, the Dharma body. My body and possessions, From the beginningless cycle of existence, Until the end of the future, Whatever virtues there are in the three times, I offer to you, Lord Lama. Now, with actual wealth and emanated by mind, Outer offerings of various desirable objects, Innerly combining calm abiding and insight, The supreme bliss and emptiness are inseparable, a secret illusion. All of that is uncreated, unobstructed skill, I offer that very offering extensively. Please bless me at this time. To the victorious ones of the mandala of wisdom, A thousand rays of knowledge radiate in the ten directions, Dispelling the darkness of ignorance of those to be tamed, The father Lama is like the orb of the sun. My own mind is also like the sun, Its essence is without increase or decrease, Its appearance is unobstructed, appearing in the ten directions, Its nature is clear as light, without obscuration. The mandala of pure intention is clear, The white light of love radiates, By dispelling the heat of afflictions, The father Lama is like the orb of the moon. My own mind is also like the moon, With the nature of complete purity, With the rays of light of the mind of enlightenment, I see the darkness of hatred being destroyed. There is no narrowness or wideness in samsara and nirvana, There is no near or far for all dharmas, Being the basis of all emanations, The father Lama is like the expanse of space. My own mind is also like space, Its nature is without obstruction or resistance.
