Spoken by Tāranātha.\n1-709\n༄༅། །To clarify the essential points for the Abbot of Tsokpa, Shakya Riwang. Spoken by Tāranātha.\n༄༅། །Namo Guru. The essential points of practice have been reached, the three key words of advice, surely beneficial when needed, seem to encompass all the essential points of the Dharma. Whatever arises immediately is like an illusion, the radiance appears, and devotion arises as one. To the six realms of beings, the pain of compassion arises, abandoning attachment and bias, as two. This mind, the king of awareness, free from extremes, naturally without fabrication, is maintained without distraction, as three. These three essential points combined into one are a Dharma that is beneficial whenever needed. That is, happiness and suffering, joy and displeasure, attachment and hatred, etc., whatever high or low hopes or fears arise, they are like an illusion that appears as if non-existent, utterly destroyed. From that state of being free from affirmation and negation, acceptance and rejection, the radiance of clear and empty awareness without grasping appears. Even just this alone, with devotion and longing arising towards the Lama, can completely cut through the delusions of the Bardo, etc. Furthermore, beings who have not realized that the nature of reality is like the sky and appearances are like illusions are truly pitiable. Thus, compassion arises purely, free from closeness and distance, bias. By looking at one's own face, remaining calmly in that state of non-grasping and non-attachment, even just meditating on this alone can drive away suffering. Whether the mind abides or moves, whatever arises at that moment, without fabrication, is left as it is. By remaining undistracted in that state or self-arising, all that arises abides in that space. If you meditate on this, the self-nature of all afflictions collapses. If each of these three essential points is sufficient, then what need is there to wait when all three are combined into one? By cultivating unfabricated awareness, compassion arises purely for those who do not understand in this way. When compassion arises like an illusion, devotion and longing arise towards the Lama who shows it in this way. Practicing the three essential points is actually one essential point. The appearance of death is a delusion, the appearance of this life is a dream, what is done in the Bardo is also conceptual thought, taking birth is also an illusion. If hope and fear arise, then obtain Phat(藏文:ཕཊ,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:呸)!", } ``` ============================================================

Good, good, let go of those exquisite decorations! Completely abandon what arises naturally. You must abide in the unaltered nature, No matter what you do, it will become artificial. I have not found one that is unaltered. The nature of artificial things, Isn't it in that unaltered one? If you understand, then accept it. When there is no decisiveness, it will not exist. Therefore, abide in a state of non-action. If it agrees with the mind, that is the key instruction. What is the use of just talking about it? If you can understand by accepting what appears, Then the king of key instructions is there. This was spoken by Tāranātha to inspire the mind of Tshokpai Khenchen Shakya Riwang. Tashi!
