大正藏第 21 册 No. 1372 增慧陀罗尼经 No. 1372 增慧陀罗尼经 西天译经三藏朝散大夫试鸿胪卿传法大师臣施护奉 诏译 如是我闻。一时大慧菩萨住须弥山顶。尔时诸天子等来诣菩萨。恭敬围绕而为听法。时有菩萨名童子相。合掌恭敬白大慧菩萨。唯愿慈悲为我等故。说增慧陀罗尼。所有一切少智钝根愚昧众生。令使得闻增彼智慧。时大慧菩萨即为宣说陀罗尼曰。 怛你也(二合)他唵(引)闭祖闭祖钵啰(二合)倪也(二合)嚩哩驮(二合)你惹啰惹啰弥驮(引)嚩哩驮(二合)你地哩地哩没弟嚩哩驮(二合)弥娑嚩(二合引)贺(引) 尔时大慧菩萨。说此陀罗尼已。告童子相言。若诸众生智慧钝劣。根性暗昧多所忘失。发志诚心于此增慧陀罗尼。受持读诵书写供养。此人速得广大智慧明记不忘。若人以此真言。诵七遍或二七遍。加持水三合于卯时饮。日日如是饮至七个月或八个月。自然日记千颂。如不恒饮水亦能日记五百颂。智慧渐增根性明利。 尔时童子相菩萨。及诸天人信受奉行。 增慧陀罗尼经 现代汉语译本 如是我闻。一时，大慧菩萨（Mahamati Bodhisattva）住在须弥山顶（Mount Sumeru）。当时，诸天子等来到菩萨处，恭敬围绕着他听法。当时，有一位菩萨名叫童子相（Kumara-lakshana）。他合掌恭敬地对大慧菩萨说：‘唯愿您慈悲，为了我们，宣说增慧陀罗尼（Increase-Wisdom Dharani），使所有一切少智、钝根、愚昧的众生，能够听闻此陀罗尼，增长他们的智慧。’当时，大慧菩萨就为他们宣说了陀罗尼，内容如下： ‘怛你也（二合）他，唵（引），闭祖，闭祖，钵啰（二合）倪也（二合）嚩哩驮（二合）你，惹啰，惹啰，弥驮（引）嚩哩驮（二合）你，地哩，地哩，没弟嚩哩驮（二合）弥，娑嚩（二合引）贺（引）。’ 当时，大慧菩萨说完此陀罗尼后，告诉童子相说：‘如果众生智慧迟钝低下，根性昏暗愚昧，容易忘事，如果他们以真诚的心，受持、读诵、书写、供养此增慧陀罗尼，这个人就能迅速获得广大的智慧，记忆力增强，不会忘记。如果有人用这个真言，诵七遍或十四遍，加持三合水（约合60毫升）在卯时（早上5-7点）饮用，每天都这样饮用，持续七个月或八个月，自然就能每天记住一千颂。如果不经常饮用加持的水，也能每天记住五百颂。智慧会逐渐增长，根性也会变得聪慧敏锐。’ 当时，童子相菩萨以及诸天人都信受奉行。 《增慧陀罗尼经》

English version Thus have I heard. At one time, Mahamati Bodhisattva (Great Wisdom Bodhisattva) was dwelling on the summit of Mount Sumeru (the central world-mountain). At that time, numerous devaputras (heavenly beings) came to the Bodhisattva, respectfully surrounding him to listen to the Dharma. Then, a Bodhisattva named Kumara-lakshana (Youthful Appearance) respectfully joined his palms and said to Mahamati Bodhisattva, 'May you, with compassion, for our sake, expound the Increase-Wisdom Dharani, so that all beings who are of little wisdom, dull faculties, and foolish minds may hear it and increase their wisdom.' Thereupon, Mahamati Bodhisattva then proclaimed the Dharani, which is as follows: 'Tadyatha, Om, Bheju Bheju, Prajna Vardhani, Jara Jara, Medha Vardhani, Dhiri Dhiri, Buddhi Vardhani, Svaha.' Then, Mahamati Bodhisattva, having spoken this Dharani, said to Kumara-lakshana, 'If beings are of dull and inferior wisdom, with darkened and obscured faculties, and are often forgetful, if they generate a sincere mind to receive, uphold, recite, write, and make offerings to this Increase-Wisdom Dharani, this person will quickly obtain vast wisdom and a clear memory that does not forget. If a person uses this mantra, reciting it seven times or fourteen times, and blesses three 'he' (approximately 60ml) of water to drink at the hour of the Rabbit (5-7am), drinking it daily in this way for seven or eight months, they will naturally be able to memorize a thousand shlokas (verses) daily. If they do not constantly drink the blessed water, they will still be able to memorize five hundred shlokas daily. Their wisdom will gradually increase, and their faculties will become bright and sharp.' At that time, Kumara-lakshana Bodhisattva and all the devas accepted it with faith and practiced accordingly.
