English version Sāro Tengaemo Zöpa Mother of glorious and powerful devas, may she eliminate nightmares and strife. Mother of the sun and moon, whose light is victorious, vast, and complete, may she perfectly eliminate all poisons and plagues. Mother of the three realities, with virtuous power, may she eliminate afflictions and disasters. With utmost sincerity, I take refuge in the Savior, may she eliminate sins and transcend evil destinies. May I swiftly attain perfect integration and accomplish the right result, may all Buddhas empower me and realize Suchness. Homage to the swift, courageous Mother of Liberation, whose eyes are like a flash of lightning. The lotus face of the Lord of the Three Worlds, arises in perfect beauty from the exquisite lotus. Homage to the Mother like a hundred autumn moons, a face universally complete and without blemish. Like a thousand constellations gathered together, her surpassing radiance transcends them. Homage to the Mother of refined gold color, whose lotus hands are supremely adorned. Giving diligence, practice, gentleness, goodness, serenity, patience, meditation, her nature is without limit. Homage to the Mother of the Tathāgata's (Tathāgata, Thus Come One) crown jewel, most supreme, able to fulfill limitless conduct. Having reached the other shore, without any remainder, the victorious children of the Buddhas are extremely fond of her. Homage to Tāra and Hūṃ, whose sound fills the directions of love and all of space. Running with her feet, she treads upon the seven worlds, and is able to summon and gather all without remainder. Homage to the Mother of Indra (Indra, King of Gods), Brahmā (Brahmā, Creator God), Agni (Agni, God of Fire), and the devas (deva, gods), the wind god is sovereign, and the masses gather. Bhūtas (bhūta, ghosts), vetālas (vetāla, vampires), gandharvas (gandharva, celestial musicians), and other yakṣas (yakṣa, nature spirits) all offer praise. Homage to Traṭ, whose hair is disheveled, utterly destroying the effects of others' actions. Extending her left leg and bending her right, she treads with her foot, her crown blazing, supremely radiant. English version Homage to Tara (Tara), the valiant and joyful, adorned with a crown of jewels and garlands of light. With utmost joy and laughter, she gazes upon the world, subduing all demonic obstacles. Homage to the mother who protects all lands, she can also summon the hosts of deities. She shakes her furrowed brow, uttering the sound 'Hum' (Hum), liberating from all decline. Homage to the mother with the moon-like mark on her crown, from which emanates wondrous and beautiful light. Amitabha (Amitabha) appears in her hair knot, constantly emitting various wondrous jewel-like lights. Homage to the mother like the fire at the end of an eon, dwelling within the blazing topknot. Universally joyful, in a half-lotus posture, she can destroy and annihilate vicious enemies. Homage to the mother who presses down on the earth with her hand, trampling with her feet to subdue. She manifests a furrowed brow, uttering the sound 'Hum' (Hum), able to break through seven dangers, subduing all. Homage to the peaceful and gentle mother, she is the most blissful state of Nirvana and quiescence. Corresponding with the life-seed syllable 'Svaha' (Svaha), she is skilled at eliminating great disasters. Homage to the universally joyful mother, causing the limbs of all enemies to be severed. The arrangement of the ten-syllable mantra is wonderfully adorned, the clear mantra 'Hum' (Hum) constantly shines brightly. Homage to Turepati Tara (Turepati Tara), her feet treading upon the seed syllable 'Hum' (Hum) of the aspect. Meru (Meru, Mount Sumeru), Mandara (Mandara, Mount Mandara), Kailasa (Kailasa, Mount Kailash), she can shake these three places. Homage to Sara, the ocean of the gods (Sara), holding the image of a divine beast in her hand. Reciting 'Tara' (Tara) twice and uttering the sound, she can eliminate all poisons, causing them to completely disappear. Homage to the mother of the king of gods, she is the object of reliance and love for gods and Kinnaras (Kinnara). Her valor and joy are like strong armor, able to eliminate strife and nightmares. Homage to the mother as vast and round as the sun and moon, beholding her is superior to the light that shines everywhere. Reciting 'Hara Ture' (Hara Ture) twice, she can well eliminate evil poisons and epidemic fevers. Homage to the mother possessing the three truths, she is endowed with goodness, tranquility, and power. Yakshas (Yaksa), those who possess, Vetalas (Vetala), Ture (Ture) can most excellently eliminate disasters. If a wise person diligently and earnestly recites these twenty-one praises. With sincere reverence to the savior (Tara), therefore, praise this root mantra. Every morning and evening, perform prostrations, remembering and bestowing all kinds of supreme fearlessness. All sins and karmas can be completely eliminated, able to transcend all evil realms.

English version Verse: Thus, one swiftly gains intelligence, having been crowned by seven kotis (koti: an ancient Indian unit of counting, equivalent to ten million) of Buddhas. In this life, one experiences wealth, longevity, and peace; in the future, one will approach the state of all Buddhas. Sometimes, one mistakenly ingests various poisons, whether naturally occurring or synthetically produced. By remembering the true power of the Holy One (referring to Tara), all evil poisons will be completely eliminated. Or, if one sees others afflicted by demonic influences, or suffering from feverish illnesses and various pains. If one recites this praise two, three, or seven times, then all these sufferings and afflictions will be completely removed. Those who desire sons or daughters will obtain them as wished; those who seek wealth and position will acquire abundance. One can perfectly fulfill all wishes according to one's desires; no obstacles can intrude.
