， 才足掩土尘， 寒暑常调适， 度人若干种。 族姓之男女， 若欲兴善意， 敬爱于佛者， 供养当如此。 吾今敷演是， 菩萨所当行， 面于正觉前， 即得佛慧眼。 诸佛无有数， 经法不可尽， 若以无数敬， 福报亦无量。” 佛说是决已，迦罗越子逝、天帝释，及诸比丘，闻经欢喜，皆前为佛作礼而去。 逝童子经 现代汉语译本： 才足以遮蔽尘土， 寒冷和炎热常常调和适宜，度化众生有若干种类。 家族中的男女，如果想要发起善意， 对佛陀恭敬爱戴的人，供养应当像这样。 我现在宣讲阐述这些，是菩萨应当修行的， 面对正觉（Sammasambuddha）之前，就能得到佛的智慧之眼。 诸佛的数量没有穷尽，经法的道理也不可穷尽， 如果以无数的恭敬心，所获得的福报也无量无边。' 佛陀说完这些决断之语后，迦罗越子（Kāravikoputra）、天帝释（Śakra devānām indra），以及各位比丘（bhikkhu），听闻佛经后欢喜，都上前向佛陀行礼后离去。 逝童子经

After the Buddha finished speaking these decisive words, Kāravikoputra (Kāravika's son), Śakra devānām indra (Lord of the Gods), and the bhikkhus (monks), rejoiced upon hearing the sutra, and went forward to bow to the Buddha before departing.
