A Prayer for the Flourishing of the Early Translation Teachings. ༄༅། །The Prayer for the Flourishing of the Early Translation Teachings, entitled "The Prophecy that Pleases the Dharma King," is presented here. At the end of times, by invoking the heart essence of the Three Roots deities, may the precious essence of the teachings flourish! Even a single thought of devotion brings immeasurable merit, fulfilling the aspirations of the Buddhas' heirs. May we meet with the Buddhas' teachings and the profound essence of the Dharma in all our lives, and through upholding, preserving, and spreading them, may we swiftly attain the wisdom of omniscience. Therefore, fortunate ones should offer this prayer at all times, especially during large gatherings: Namo. The Sugatas of the ten directions with their retinue, Especially the unequaled Shakya King, The eight bodhisattvas and the assembly of noble elders, Supreme beings of wisdom and compassion, please heed us! 奇妙阿底瑜伽之密道， 无余诸佛之智慧身， 遍主文殊金刚善成就， 莲生王之教法愿兴盛。 以真实现量三之狮吼， 惊吓见劣之众鹿群， 殊胜乘之狮吼声遍三地， 莲生王之教法愿兴盛。 于圆满一切胜者教之妙衣顶， 光明金刚藏之顶饰庄严， 于诸方彻底胜之胜幢高扬， 莲生王之教法愿兴盛。 我等自今乃至有情存， 教与教之精华皆圆满， 于虚空界中执持弘扬增， 莲生王之教法愿兴盛。 总而言之以贤善成就之行传， 弘扬胜者教之事业遍虚空， 具教持圣者遍满于世间， 莲生王之教法愿兴盛。 具德上师之寿永坚固， 教法施主之权势增盛故， 竖立不坏之法政宝幢， 莲生王之教法愿兴盛。 如是，一切胜者之本体，具德圆满正等觉莲花生，无死海生王之教法，名曰前译宁玛，乃圆满一切胜者教法之根本，具众多甚深要义之特点，且见修行持清净，是不谬误之悦诸佛之妙道，认识此理后，如擦拭珍宝般，于胜幢之顶供养，凡具缘之士，以讲辩著三之广大事业，于一切方弘扬增盛，荷此重任。 如是，为令如是之愿如意成就，以对宁玛教法由衷生起之纯净意乐，麦彭蒋扬南嘉嘉措于良辰吉日之吉祥时刻书写，善哉增盛！ 前译教法兴盛祈愿文。

From the wondrous secret path of Ati Yoga, The wisdom body of all Buddhas without exception, May the all-pervading Manjushri Vajra be perfectly accomplished, May the teachings of the Lotus-born King flourish! With the roar of the three authentic valid cognitions, Frightening the herds of deer with inferior views, May the lion's roar of the supreme vehicle pervade the three realms, May the teachings of the Lotus-born King flourish! At the peak of the excellent garment of the complete teachings of the Victorious Ones, Adorned with the crest jewel of radiant Vajra Essence, May the victory banner that utterly triumphs over all directions be high, May the teachings of the Lotus-born King flourish! From this day forth, as long as beings exist, May we uphold, preserve, and spread the complete essence of the teachings, In fields pervading the sky, May the teachings of the Lotus-born King flourish! In short, through the biographies of learned, virtuous, and accomplished beings, May the activities of spreading the Victorious One's teachings pervade the sky, May the holy holders of the teachings completely fill the earth, May the teachings of the Lotus-born King flourish! May the life of the glorious lama be utterly stable, And through the flourishing power of the patrons of the teachings, May the indestructible jewel banner of Dharma and governance be raised, May the teachings of the Lotus-born King flourish! Thus, the essence of all the Victorious Ones, the glorious perfect Buddha Padmasambhava, the deathless Ocean-Born King's teachings, known as the Early Translation Nyingma, is the foundation of the complete teachings of all the Victorious Ones, possessing the characteristics of many profound key points. Recognizing that the pure view, meditation, and conduct are the unerring excellent path that pleases the Victorious Ones, like polishing a precious jewel and offering it at the top of a victory banner, may all fortunate individuals take on the responsibility of spreading and increasing it in all directions through the vast activities of teaching, debating, and writing. Thus, as an auspicious connection and aspiration for the fulfillment of such wishes, this was written spontaneously by Mipham Jamyang Namgyal Gyatso, with pure intention from the depths of his heart for the Nyingma teachings, at an auspicious time and place.
