A Prayer for the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain A Prayer for the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain ༄༅། །A Prayer for the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain, called the Secret Path of the Glorious Mountain. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma siddhi hūṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma siddhi hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum) The naturally pure, beyond mind, primordial essence, The clear radiance, unceasing, bliss-emptiness, the play of the Sambhogakaya, The embellishments of the Nirmanakaya realm, the world to be tamed, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! The Vajra Throne, the center of the earth in Jambudvipa, The place where the Buddhas of the three times turn the wheel of Dharma, To its northwest, the island of Rakshasa Lanka, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! The spontaneously accomplished ground of Citta, Its root bound to the crown of the powerful Garuda, At its waist, the formless Dakinis circle the assembly, Its peak like a mountain of meditative absorption in the Form Realm, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! In the immeasurable palace at the peak of that King of Mountains, East crystal, south blue lapis lazuli, West ruby, north indranila, Inside, outside, and in between, transparent rainbow light, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! With corridors, eaves, arched projections, and swirling rainbows, Silk fabrics, parasols, nets, and half-nets, East arrow towers, door ornaments, and horse stables, Complete with Dharma wheels, parasol tops, symbolic meanings, and signs, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! Amidst wish-fulfilling trees and nectar-like waters, Dense groves, medicinal fields, and fragrant scents, Sages, Vidyadharas, flocks of birds, and Brahma, Transform the sounds of the Dharma of the Three Vehicles into melodies and symbolic songs, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! At the center of the great immeasurable palace, On a precious eight-petaled lotus, sun, and moon, The self-arisen Padmasambhava, the embodiment of all Sugatas, Dwells in the expanse of rainbow light, the union of the three Kayas and lineages, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! From the profound and clear great bliss wisdom of that one, From the illusory display of emptiness arising as compassion, In all ten directions, and especially in the land of Tibet, Emanations appear unceasingly, a hundred million times over, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! In the row on the right, the Indian and Tibetan Vidyadharas, Are vast and pervasive in the dance of luminous Vajra, In the row on the left, the Indian and Tibetan Panditas and Siddhas, The sounds of teaching, practice, realization, debate, and Dharma resound, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! Around the perimeter and in between, kings and subjects...

With the twenty-five Bangs, and the supreme assembly of accomplished emanation treasure revealers, Enjoying the wheel of the nine vehicles in sequence, Holding the asceticism of the unwavering intent's peg, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! All four directions, eight intermediate directions, corners, and corridors, Filled with heroes, dakinis, gods, and goddesses, The vajra songs and dances move like illusions, Making the outer, inner, and secret offering clouds abundant, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! Above that, within the immeasurable and beautiful arrangement of the Sambhogakaya, To the Lotus-Handed Lord of the World, Avalokiteshvara, The mandala of assemblies surrounded by inconceivable retinues, May it reduce conceptual thoughts, habitual tendencies, enemies, and obstacles to ashes, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! Above that, in the delightful Dharmakaya pure land, The ground appearance, the essence of wisdom, Samantabhadra, Showing symbolic teachings to the retinue of the expanse of awareness, The teachers and retinue have activities with the same intent, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! At the four gates are the four great listener kings, All the eight classes of gods and demons, outer, inner, and secret, Having been sent as messengers, subduing the tirthikas and oath-breakers, The oath-bound ones beat the victory drum of courage like the ocean, May I be born in the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! Having thus clarified the arrangement of the pure land, To the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain of the outer realm, Through the power of the aspiration of the inner awareness of the indweller, May my own body manifest as the arrangement of the pure land of the Sahā world, May my own appearance manifest as the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain! Especially through the profound interdependence of generation and completion, Having untied the knots of the three roots and five chakras, In the great palace of the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain in the heart center, Having perfected the skill of the play of co-emergent wisdom, May I meet the self-aware Padmasambhava! Within the five paths of accumulation, joining, seeing, meditation, and no-more-learning, From the Very Joyful to the All-Illuminating, Especially the two supreme grounds of the Vajrayana, Especially the uncommon wisdom of the glorious Great Perfection, Perfecting in the effortless, relaxed state of the lama, May I be liberated into the lotus light of the ground essence! If the great power of intent is not perfected, Through the power of fervent supplication and aspiration, When death suddenly comes by force, The lotus messengers, the dancing dakinis, Visibly holding the fist of the hand, Like Kharchenza and Guna Natha, It is said to be in accordance with the way of having various appearances.
