The Blessing Rain of the Guru Yoga of the Great Rongzom Pandita The Blessing Rain of the Guru Yoga of the Great Rongzom Pandita ༄༅། །The Blessing Rain of the Guru Yoga of the Great Rongzom Pandita. My own body is clearly visualized as Vajra Yogini, In the center of the thousand-petaled solar and lunar disc on my crown, The essence of the wisdom of all Buddhas is Manjushri, In the form of the Guru, the embodiment of all refuges. The Pandita who is victorious over all factions, The lion of speakers, Rongzom Chokyi Zangpo (Rongzom Dharma Bhadra), With the appearance of a mantra practitioner, wearing secret robes and a cloak, Dark blue hair strands loose behind his back. Smiling with delight, radiant with the marks and signs of excellence, The right hand holds an utpala flower with the gesture of supreme generosity, In the center of the flower is a blue-green sword, The left hand rests in equipoise, holding a volume of tantras. With feet crossed in the indestructible vajra posture, He dwells in the midst of the blazing expanse of the five wisdom lights. From the seed syllables of the three vajras at the three places, Light radiates, inviting all the infinite Buddhas of the three roots, Transforming into the form of the supreme and venerable Guru, The samaya and wisdom beings become inseparable. The Lord of all families, Vajradhara, I prostrate to the feet of the glorious protector, the Guru. I confess all sins, transgressions, and faults accumulated since beginningless time, I offer clouds of offerings, both actual and mentally created, like an ocean, I rejoice in all the virtues of the three times, I urge you to turn the wheel of Dharma, profound and vast, With a vajra body in the ocean of beings. Whatever virtues I have accumulated in the three times, I gather them all together with my mind, In order to attain the state of union, the glorious Guru's state, For the sake of all beings pervading space, I dedicate them. From now until reaching the heart of enlightenment, May I never be separated from you, the glorious protector, the Guru, Even upon attaining enlightenment, may you remain as the Lord of my family, Bless me to remain inseparable. May the sun of Manjushri's wisdom rise in my heart, May the great treasure of compassion increase the ocean of my mind, May I be empowered by the power of Vajradhara, Bless me to accomplish the state of vidyadhara. May the meaning of the profound teachings of the sutras and tantras in general, and especially of the early translation school, The transmissions and pith instructions, Arise effortlessly and spontaneously in my mind, Pandita, grant me the blessings and empowerments.

Ta. Before the glorious Dharma Lord, inseparable from the Three Families, It is said that merely by supplicating you, one visibly sees the blessings' appearance. Look upon us with your samaya wisdom, Precious One! Now afflicted by the power of the five degenerations, the teachings remain, but are devoid of the four reliances. Difficult to find the profound meaning of the Sugata's intention, therefore, please transfer the blessings of the meaning lineage to me. May I, in all lifetimes, become your servant, Protector, to spread your vast activities, and uphold, maintain, and propagate the teachings and the essence of the teachings, the three inner tantras, in fields pervading space. Having supplicated intensely in this way, at the heart of the guru, on a moon seat, at the end of the letter དྷཱི༔(Tibetan, Devanagari: धी, Romanized Sanskrit: dhīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: धी), with the light rays surrounding the essence of the secret mantra, the essence of the blessings of all the victorious ones of the three roots, in the form of body, mantra garlands, and hand implements, falls like rain and dissolves into the guru's body. From that, a stream of wisdom nectar descends, and one receives the blessings of body, speech, and mind. Having visualized in this way and with intense devotion, recite: Om Ah Vajra Maha Guru Dharma Bhadra Sarva Siddhi Hum(Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ आ वज्र महागुरु धर्मभद्र सर्व सिद्धि हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ ā vajra mahāguru dharmabhadra sarva siddhi hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Ah Vajra Great Guru Dharma Bhadra All Accomplishment Hum) And practice the guru yidam. Om Hum Vajra Maha Guru Dharma Bhadra Ara Pa Ca Na Dhi Sarva Siddhi Hum Hum(Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ हुं वज्र महागुरु धर्मभद्र अर पच न धी सर्व सिद्धि हुं हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ hūṃ vajra mahāguru dharmabhadra ara pa ca na dhī sarva siddhi hūṃ hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Hum Vajra Great Guru Dharma Bhadra Ara Pa Ca Na Dhi All Accomplishment Hum Hum) On the life mantra of all the vidyadharas, this transformation of the guru's name mantra, is the intention of the tantras and great accomplished ones. There is no doubt about attaining accomplishment. At the end, receive the four empowerments, and in a state of mingling mind and heart, rest evenly in the meaning of the naturally pure, unadulterated, original bodhicitta of one's own mind. Rising from that, dedicate the merit and recite auspicious verses. At all times, make the experience of blending the guru's appearance and one's own mind the essence of practice. This method is greatly pleasing, and at the urging of those who are learned in scripture and reasoning and diligent in practice, the follower of the incomparable great mahapandita, Mipham Nampar Gyalwa, wrote this on an auspicious lunar day. May it be virtuous! Mangalam! The Rain of Blessings, Guru Yoga of the Great Glorious Rongzom Mahapandita.
