There are five types of necessity and connection: the expression, what is to be expressed, the need, the connection, and the need of the need. Among these, the expression is this very secret tantra. What is to be expressed is the enlightened activity of Glorious Vajrasattva. All the qualities of this essence of all secrets, the greatly secret, are to be expressed. The need is to understand the meaning of the mandala, samaya, activities, offerings, and so forth. The connection is not like having a need but no connection, or having a connection but no need, because by understanding the meaning of this tantra, the qualities of the greatness of the body, speech, and mind of the Thus-Gone One arise from this tantra. Therefore, it is connected as the method and the way it arises from the method. The need of the need is: Bhagavan Great Bliss. All the great qualities of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of Glorious Vajrasattva are accomplished. The so-called 'Khog dbug chung ngu,' made for the purpose of the manifestation of Lhaje substances, is completed.
