I prostrate to the pacification of jealousy. To all the Buddhas of the ten directions, and to the gurus, yidams, and dakinis, I prostrate. By the truth of the righteous ones, vidyadharas, and accomplished ones, may the five families of Buddhas and bodhisattvas abide firmly in this place, purify sins and obscurations, and may all obstacles be cleared away. Then, offer a white torma to the local deity and say: "Do not be jealous or resentful of this work." Thus, give instructions. Then, recite auspicious words and place the hand symbols of the five families on the land eye. Hum. The auspicious deity of meaning from the center, Vairochana, who is auspicious, may that auspicious one bring happiness and well-being today. The auspicious deity of meaning from the east, Vajrasattva, who is auspicious, may that auspicious one bring happiness and well-being today. The auspicious deity of meaning from the south, Ratnasambhava, who is auspicious, may that auspicious one bring happiness and well-being today. The auspicious deity of meaning from the west, Amitabha, who is auspicious, may that auspicious one bring happiness and well-being today. The auspicious deity of meaning from the north, Amoghasiddhi, who is auspicious, may that auspicious one bring happiness and well-being today. Also, recite any auspicious verses that you know. For the sake of the deceased, generate the deceased as Avalokiteshvara, and generate the Pure Land in the cemetery, and invite and absorb the wisdom being. Recite the six-syllable mantra hundreds or thousands of times and consecrate greatly. Reciting a condensed auspicious prayer has immeasurable great benefits, and it is said that the ghosts, hungry ghosts, and গন্ধর্ব্বs of the cemetery will not cause harm. I heard this from the Chöd practice. Ema! From China, transform and search for the land eye to subdue the earth. From India, transform and place a crossed vajra peg to subdue the earth. From Minyak, plant an arrow in the land eye.

All the numerous faults arising from black calculation and the like, because of the great sins, the land maker will be born in hell. Therefore, from Kriya and Gongdü, the blessing of subduing the land, inviting the land, and the consecration of the land, are briefly summarized. The letters, meanings, words, and recitations are all complete. For the benefit of some ignorant people in later generations, the old mantra practitioner Raga Asya quickly wrote it down. The young mantra practitioner Orgyen Gön recorded it in writing. May all beings' sins of earthquakes be pacified by the virtue of confessing the sins committed against the earth spirit! Direction of diarrhea and vomiting: Spring three months to the north, summer three months to the east, autumn three months to the south, winter three months to the west. If the digger also leans in this way, then strike the pit with a hoe three times. Digging is never allowed on the twelfth of each month, but digging inside and outside is allowed. A clear indication of how to perform a concise land ritual.
