In this snowy land of Tibet, as the aspirations and activities of the incarnate Khenpo, Abbot, and Dharma King ripened, in general, the scriptures of the Buddhas along with their commentaries, and in particular, countless outer and inner secret tantra sections were invited from places like the realm of Oddiyana Dakinis to this cool land. The incarnate translators, panditas, scholars, and accomplished ones translated them into Tibetan, and then proofread and finalized them. The great master of Oddiyana, Guru Padmasambhava, traversed the entire land of Tibet with his feet. In order to heal the decline of the environment and beings of future Tibet, he concealed limitless Dharma teachings, represented by the Guru, Dzogchen, and Thuk, as treasures, and expanded them with aspirations. Just as the prophecies were made one by one regarding the names, places, times, and necessities of the first of the hundred accomplished ones of Tibet, along with their incarnations and emanations, etc., later the incarnate treasure revealers appeared in succession, and from their respective treasure sites, they invited countless sadhanas of the three roots, as well as the supporting teachings of these sadhanas—the stages of generation, completion, and the Great Perfection—the stages of profound secret instructions that awaken fortunate and karmically connected ones in the three doors to the nature of the three vajras. Each treasure revealer's treasure Dharma possesses the complete and unerring path of liberation, and the blessings of the nine-fold qualities of the vidyadhara lineage, the undiminished warmth of the near lineage. The source of accomplishment of the countless assemblies of peaceful and wrathful deities of the mandala of the vast expanse has not dried up. The root of the activities of the heroes and dakinis of the three places, along with the Dharma protectors and oath-bound ones, has not declined. For the qualified disciples with karma and pure aspirations, the manifestation of the inexhaustible great treasure of Dharma, which is their share, will appear and continue to appear in time. The great chariot of the five treasures, difficult to find in the three times, the incarnate play of the great translator Vairochana—Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye—compiled most of the profound treasures from the first treasure revealer, Sangye Lingpa, to Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, into one collection, and compiled the Dharma collection called "The Great Treasury of Precious Treasures."

As the lord of the practice lineage teachings, Palpung Situ Pema Wangchuk Gyalpo newly carved the woodblock print of the Great Treasure of Precious Treasures at Palpung Monastery. Similarly, the crown jewel of accomplished vidyadharas, His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa Kunzang Khyakhyab Rangjung Deway Dorje, also newly carved the woodblock print of the Great Treasure of Precious Treasures at Tsurphu Monastery. In addition, when receiving the maturation and liberation of the Great Treasure of Precious Treasures from the venerable one, he concisely compiled the necessary supplements and instructions for practice into a scripture called "The Wish-Fulfilling Treasure Vase," which corresponds to the number of the Four Noble Truths. Most vidyadharas of the Early Translation School have been giving the maturation empowerment of the Great Treasure of Precious Treasures based on this practice manual. Therefore, it can be said with certainty that this holy being has made great contributions to the teachings of the Early Translation School of Treasures. In short, the lineage of the Five Great Treasures was propagated by the heart sons and disciples through empowerment, transmission, and texts, so that the teachings will not decline even in the distant future. Later, Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and Kyabje Penor Rinpoche republished the Tsurphu version based on the Karma version. Recently, under the guidance of Kyabje Rabjam Rinpoche, a computerized version of the Great Treasure of Precious Treasures was produced. Although there are still some texts of the Great Treasure of Precious Treasures, according to the wishes of Kyabje Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, the activities of the holy beings have spread all over the world. Due to intercontinental travel requiring airplanes and other means of transportation, it has become inconvenient to carry large amounts of scriptures, and many ancient features such as piled-up libraries and paper scriptures are gradually being replaced by dust-free information.
