The yogi who practices the Lord of Life, fulfills deficiencies and averts obstacles. The ritual of fulfillment is performed as follows: Establish a place in accordance with the scriptures, and arrange the mandala in whatever way is appropriate. Place the undamaged and complete great scroll. Arrange medicine, alcohol, and torma at its root, branches, and five places. Surround the outer offerings, such as tsara sheep and birds, etc. Arrange offerings of the life force and breath of sentient beings. Arrange various feast offerings. Gugul, great meat tsok, and abundant oil lamps, incense smoke, fluttering clothes, and musical instruments. The yogi who is well-endowed with vows, performs the great ritual of fulfillment. Recite the text of great subjugation, and after completing the recitation and feast praise, perform the ritual of fulfillment as follows: Hūṃ! From the great charnel ground, the palace of fear, to the supreme secret sacred place, piles of Tira field offerings like mountains, pools of argham rakta offerings like oceans, māṃsa (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) great meat offerings cascading like waterfalls, heaps of skeletal fragments like snow mountains, arrays of abundant oil lamps like stars, masses of great incense smoke like clouds, piles of desirable feast offerings like forests, fluttering clothes of phoḍkha (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) shining like rainbows, offerings of sentient life force endowed with essence, offerings of musical sounds resounding like thunder. We fulfill and confess to all the deities of the Lord of Life. Fulfill your vows and cut off the root of enemies and obstacles. We beseech you to grant empowerment and blessings. Hūṃ! From the great palace of the realm of dharma, to the sacred mandala of the wrathful E, on the seats of a hundred thousand nāgas, a thousand gnyan, and earth lords, on the throne trampled by fat guardian buffaloes, on the seats of skillful means and wisdom, sun and moon lotuses, on the seats where Yama males and females are intertwined, the deity who subdues the five poisons of affliction and attachment, the form of the Black Lord of Life, Manjushri, the slayer of life, subduing the five poisons with the aspect of the five poisons, with this body of the five poisons that subdues enemies and obstacles, the one father mudra subdues.
