Furthermore, if clear appearance is difficult to arise, place a thangka of the deity to be meditated upon in front, one that is easy to visualize. Gaze at it without letting the eyes wander, and when the image is clearly imprinted in the mind, regard it as the actual deity. When inhaling, focus on being non-dual with the deity and recite. When exhaling, visualize the deity clearly in front. By focusing on the deity and reciting, accomplishment will swiftly occur. If that is also difficult, then with unwavering faith, wishing for the deity being practiced to swiftly accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings, even reciting in that way will lead to great meaning. The different methods spoken of in different texts cannot be refuted against each other, because they are spoken due to the need for taming, and the differences in faculties and intelligence. Therefore, even reciting with unwavering, one-pointed conviction, wishing for the deity to be swiftly accomplished, one will obtain immeasurable power. As it is said: Having abandoned all speech, one should begin to speak secret mantras. Since the deity is also accomplished through bliss, the power of mantra is extremely great. Also, in the Root Tantra it is said: Body clear, light clear, rays gather. Knowing that it is mind itself, there is no need to practice great bliss separately. One will obtain the qualities of a vidyadhara. Etc., since the benefits are widely proclaimed, those who have entered the yoga of mantra should make effort as the essence. This method is according to the intention of the single practice of the hand seal of the Gathering of Sugatas of the Eight Herukas of the Kagye and the combined practice of the Secret Perfection Heruka, and is done for the sake of ease in entering the daily yoga. The method of recitation is that generally one should recite free from the six faults, but especially, one should recite silently for approach, recite aloud for action, and mainly perform restrained recitation for the sake of supreme accomplishment. This was also written by Changme Dorje at the urging of Lobsang Donyo Drubpa, the treasurer of the victorious monastic community of Phukluk. Daily Yoga of the Single Hand Seal and Combined Practice of the Kagye De-Shek and Secret. Changme Dorje.
