It is said that the words of Kusāli cannot be used as garbage or banners. It is said that the words of Kusāli cannot be used as garbage or banners. Again, I heard this: Once, the Supreme Rinpoche said to me, the Body of Essence, which is the Dharmakaya, is free from the two stains. If there is something more sublime than that, go and consult with the Gyalwa Lama. The four bodies that you, Palchen and Marpa, each assert in your respective schools, are ultimately a kind of extreme. These of mine are the words of the yogi Kusāli, and are very foolish, so they cannot be used as garbage or banners. The nature of all of samsara and nirvana is untransformed, free from all acceptance and rejection, negation and affirmation. It was not made by the wise Buddha, nor was it transformed by foolish sentient beings; this is it itself. It is different from the Dharmakaya obtained through hearing and thinking, and from the Supreme Rinpoche. If asked what is the difference from the Dharmakaya of the Supreme Rinpoche? One should say that it is free from all obscurations. But it is said that this does not abide in either the extreme of separation or non-separation. It is in harmony with all, and also in harmony with samsara. About this, I have written a text: "The Lord of the Three Times, the Great Bliss Lama." That is the passage. If you wonder if there is a source for this? From the Form to the Omniscience, there is neither bondage nor liberation, neither union nor separation. It is said that such an ultimate view is the view of Toktsepa. Regarding non-union and non-separation, Sakya Pandita explained that from the perspective of the ultimate truth of Dharmata, there is no bondage; from the perspective of the conventional truth of phenomena, there is no liberation. When Khenpo Zhang said that this seems to refer to the absence of acceptance and rejection, he said, "The previous ones are the results of hearing and thinking. That is indeed so." When he felt happy, a meditator seemed to be hitting him while saying this. When Darlo said that he seemed to have no realization, I recited mantras and was able to overcome Chöyer and Besgom. He said that the Dharma is very profound, or completely ignorant, and that is its end. It is said that the words of Kusāli cannot be used as garbage or banners.
