This is shown by using illusion and dreams, which are not pure other-powered natures, as examples. For example, when a magician uses mantras and drugs to deceive witnesses, causing various horses and cows to appear, even at that time, the lumps of clay and so on never actually arise as the essence of horses and cows. It is only when the mind is confused that they appear as such. Similarly, the other-powered nature, which is devoid of the two, grasper and grasped, due to the power of the imprints of ignorance, when the various appearances such as the two, grasper and grasped, appear, at that very moment, they do not arise from the beginning as the essence of what appears, but abide in the essence of non-duality. For example, just as the basis of illusion, such as clay, and the appearances of horses and cows, etc., appear even though they do not exist, similarly, the consciousness of the grasper and grasped of the other-powered nature, although it is non-dual due to the power of imprints, is shown by the example of illusion from the aspect of its appearance. Therefore, the example of the other-powered nature is not established from the very aspect of the appearance of illusion. However, the basis of manifestation, such as horses and cows, etc., although they do not exist, the illusion becomes the place of the other-powered nature from the aspect of their appearance. The Madhyamikas, when establishing illusion, etc., as examples of all conditioned phenomena being false, are not establishing the basis of the manifestation of illusion, but are establishing illusion as an example of the fact that the appearance of horses and cows, etc., is not established as it appears. In the Sutras, regarding the intention of what is said, such as unborn and unceasing, the Vijnanavadins believe that although the other-powered nature truly arises from causes and conditions, since its own essence appears as dual, it is unborn from the beginning; and since it does not cease as unborn; and since it is unborn from the beginning, they believe that it is naturally nirvana. Both true and false aspects are similar in that they lack external objects such as forms and sounds, but the true-aspect Vijnanavadins believe that the grasped aspect of forms and sounds, etc., which appear in consciousness, is true in the essence of consciousness. Therefore, they believe that forms, etc., are true in the essence of consciousness. They do not believe that the aspect of the appearance of forms, etc., is a delusion of consciousness, but rather that forms appear as if they are cut off externally, and that the essence of experiencing consciousness in the aspect of the grasper is considered by the intellect to be the grasped aspect and" } ] ============================================================

It is considered an illusion in terms of the appearance of various phenomena as distinct. In the samadhi of the noble ones and the state of the Buddhas, there is no illusion of dualistic appearance. Even when dualistic appearance ceases, since consciousness with aspects is true, it is considered wisdom with aspects. False appearances are those that appear as objects, such as forms, just as hairs appear due to the influence of cataracts. Due to ignorance, they merely appear as things that do not exist, and are not established in either meaning or knowledge. Therefore, in the samadhi of the noble ones, dualistic appearance vanishes, and it is considered the sole wisdom without aspects. The wisdom of the Buddhas is also considered the sole Dharmakaya, free from the defilement of aspects. As for the Rupakaya and Nirmanakaya, and the activities, etc., seen by those to be trained, some, such as Gyen Kenpo Sher Jung, Sangpa, and others, hold this view. The noble Asanga and Shantideva, and others, believe that the Dharmakaya is non-conceptual wisdom without aspects, and that in the subsequent attainment of pure worldly wisdom, various pure appearances of body and activities arise. Although it is an illusion with appearances relative to non-conceptual wisdom, it is not a great illusion, because the two obscurations have been abandoned, and it does not arise from the cause of ignorance, and because it is known that appearances are false, and because it arises from the continuum of the accumulation of merit. The former consider aspects to be immaculate false aspects, and the latter consider aspects to be defiled false aspects, so the wise ones think. This is the answer given to Kachuwa Yonten Gyaltsen's question. May there be auspiciousness! Answer to the question of Kachuwa Yonten Gyaltsen.
