Homage to Tötreng Tsal! This is the method for offering praise to the oath-bound protectors of the powerful accomplishment: In a copper or iron pot or vessel, place black demon food, adorned with flesh and blood and lingams of black birds; place red tsen food, adorned with flesh and blood and lingams of red birds; in a precious vessel, place round naga food, adorned with the three whites, three sweets, various grains, medicines, and the essence of butter snakes; clearly visualize yourself as a wrathful deity, bless the torma, purify and increase it, and think of enemies and obstacles as piles of flesh and blood; think of the naga food as piles of white sweets, medicine, incense, and grains, and various enjoyments; invite, offer, and praise as follows: HŪṂ! Oath-bound protectors, the blazing brother and sister, I offer servants and attendants; with all your retinue, come to this place; by the power of your oath, quickly come! VAJRA SAMAYA JAḤ JAḤ! HŪṂ! Possessing miraculous power to protect the teachings, abiding by your oath, oath-bound ones, protectors who come to punish those who break their vows, remain steadfast in this wrathful place! In the midst of a swirling vortex of blood-red hue, The red silk banners flutter and sway; Accompanied by a host of a hundred thousand fierce warriors, With the power of samaya, I praise you. Please accept this samaya substance torma, Utterly destroy all enemies and obstructors into dust; May the entrusted activities be accomplished. Hūṃ! The White Nāginī, in a peaceful form, Adorned in white silk garments, riding a tortoise as mount; Holding an arrow-banner in the right hand, a jewel in the left; From the heart of a blazing rainbow sphere, A silk diadem upon her head, puru ru; Surrounded by a hundred thousand Nāga goddesses and yakṣiṇīs; With the power of samaya, I praise you. Please accept this samaya substance torma, Clear away obstacles and bestow siddhis; May the entrusted activities be accomplished. Thus reciting, offer with food offerings; Protect oneself and aid in emptiness; Obtain the siddhis of power and fierceness; Especially the protector of this Dharma, Protecting the yogi who keeps vows like a child; Accomplishing whatever four activities are entrusted; Therefore, cherish and practice with care.
