Essence Extraction of Precious Sand. Essence Extraction of Precious Sand. From the complete teachings of the Great Perfection, the longevity practice that triumphs over the four maras: Herein resides the Essence Extraction of Precious Sand. Homage to the longevity deities and vidyadharas. As a component of the profound sadhana, there exists the Essence Extraction of Precious Sand. Write it down and bury it as treasure. May those with karmic connection utilize it. Samaya. Gya Gya Gya. Yogis with a hot constitution should rely on sand from shady places. Yogis with a cold constitution should rely on sand from sunny places. Individuals with a balanced hot and cold constitution should rely on sand from riverbanks. From sand mountains that match one's constitution, supplicate the lineage lamas. With the pride of the powerful Hayagriva, take the sand and recite this mantra: Om Ah Hum Jñana Tshe Bhrum Sarva Siddhi Svaha. (Tibetan: ཨཱོཾ་ཨཱཾཿཧཱུྃ་ཛྙཱ་ན་ཚེ་བྷྲཱུྃ་སརྦ་སིངྔྷི་སྭཱ་ཧཱ༔, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ आः हूँ ज्ञान चे भ्रूँ सर्व सिद्धि स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanized: oṃ āḥ hūṃ jñāna ce bhrūṃ sarva siddhi svāhā, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om Ah Hum, Wisdom, Longevity, Bhrum, All Accomplishments, Svaha.) The earth goddess Tenma offers the siddhi of the earth's essence, sand. Contemplate it as a substance for accomplishing supreme and common siddhis. Collect it in a container and put it in boiling water. Boil the sand and remove the toxins. Dry it well and then consume it. Initially, for the first week, take two parts tsampa and one part sand; this is the key. Then, for the second week, take two parts sand and one part tsampa. Then, for the third week, mix just a little tsampa with the sand. Then, gradually as you become accustomed, abandon the tsampa and rely solely on the sand. When consuming it, with the pride of the wrathful Hayagriva or the longevity practice deity, consume it with unwavering mindfulness. Buddhas and bhagavats of the ten directions, vidyadhara protectors, longevity deities, root and lineage lamas, please look upon me with compassion and bless this Essence Extraction of Precious Sand so that it may be effective. Bless me to attain the supreme essence. Grant me the siddhi of immortal life. Thus, speak. Recite the heart essence of the longevity practice. Repeatedly meditate on the guru yoga. Receive the four empowerments and blend your mind with the guru's mind. Hold the subtle winds, and gently rotate the abdomen and waist sometimes; this is key. The body posture should mainly be the seven-point posture of Vairochana. Do not walk or exercise the body excessively. Whatever obstacles may arise, consume a little ghee, white flour, and a small amount of barley flour. Samaya. Gya Gya Gya. Yogis who practice in this way will accomplish the supreme siddhi of khechara. Common aging and stiffness will be eliminated, life will be prolonged, and obstacles, adverse conditions, and diseases
