I, Padma, the Immortal Lord of Life, Will reveal the profound longevity practice of the Profound Path of Great Compassion. Practice it well, future sons! Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Then, visualize the place where you are as the Western Paradise of Bliss or Mount Potala. Recite the refuge and bodhicitta according to the text, and visualize yourself as the supreme deity of the secret profound path of Great Compassion. In the center of a purplish-red tent in your heart, on the center of a four-petaled lotus, visualize the Lord of the Family, Amitabha. On the four lotus petals in the four directions, visualize the eight deities of the four families, male and female. In the pores of your skin and in the places of your body, visualize the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Fortunate Aeon. The Three Roots, Dharma Protectors, and Guardians. On the four limbs, visualize the four gatekeepers. In short, visualize your own four-square body, which is made of the appearance of the four elements, as the self-arisen palace, the assembly of deities, and the nature of the channels and winds. In the heart of the Lord of the Family, Amitabha, on top of a radiant sun and moon disc, in the center of a five-pronged golden vajra, visualize the red letter HRIH, inside the hollow of the ha-khok. Visualize your own unchanging essence of life as the green, radiant letter NRI. Around the five-pronged vajra, clockwise, recite: OM AMIDEVA VAJRA RATNA PADMA KARMA TSE BHRAM YU TSE BHRAM AYURJNANA YU TSE BHRAM SVAHA! As the sound of the mantra revolves, various rays of light emanate, gathering all the life, glory, and wealth of samsara and nirvana. As they dissolve into you, you attain the accomplishment of longevity. Think of being deathless and recite the above essence. Recite hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of times, according to your capacity. You will attain the accomplishment of longevity, and various signs will appear. This practice should be done before the crow crows, before dawn. Vigorously apply the mantra and visualization, reciting thousands of times. If you strive without attachment, you will master the wisdom of longevity. You will definitely attain it, and there will be no birth, death, old age, or decline. This is the supreme generation stage, like the practice of the generation stage. You can also generate it in an instant, or visualize it clearly. If you combine it with activities, then arrange medicine, alcohol, and offerings.
