All-Knowing Gendun Gyatso. All-Knowing Gendun Gyatso. The tenth All-Knowing Gendun Gyatso was born in Tanak Dorje Den in Tsang, the son of Vajradhara Kunga Gyaltsen. He clearly narrated the previous lives of Je Gendun Drup. In the Earth Snake year, he established the Chokor Gyal Metoktang monastery in the hidden land of Karmo Jong. He built a main temple with supports. At the age of forty-three, he ascended the throne of Drepung Monastery. He passed away at the age of fifty-eight, in the Water Tiger year. The eleventh was Panchen Sonam Drakpa. All-Knowing Gendun Gyatso.
