北门守护者那若巴。 北门守护者那若巴。 ༈ 北门守护者那若巴，神通无与伦比。弟子是辩论时的一切智者寂天菩萨，听闻佛法、灌顶、传承等后续教诲非常多，也获得了成就。一次，那若巴拿着一个头盖骨，像向所有人乞讨一样。一个强盗往头盖骨里扔了一把小刀。那若巴看着，小刀像黄油一样慢慢融化，然后他喝了下去走了。在四岔路口，他将意识转移到一头死象的尸体上，然后被抬到墓地，以此作为我是瑜伽士的标志。他对寂天菩萨说：“大学者您也不愿意示现神迹吗？”寂天菩萨回答说：“像我这样的人需要什么呢？但是如果你想这样做，那就做吧。”一些拿着水瓶的人来了，他对水念了一些咒语，所有的水都变成了熔化的金子。据说他把金子分给了僧众和婆罗门。之后，那若巴守护北门几年，然后前往瑜伽境界。之后，由住持贤护代替了他的位置。贤护是观世音菩萨成就后亲见本尊，并直接听闻佛法的人。

North Gate Guardian Naropa. North Gate Guardian Naropa. ༈ The North Gate Guardian Naropa, his magical powers were unparalleled. His disciple was the omniscient Shantipa, the debater, who received many subsequent teachings such as Dharma teachings, empowerments, and transmissions, and also attained accomplishments. Once, Naropa carried a skull cup and acted as if begging from everyone. A robber threw a small knife into the skull cup. Naropa looked at it, and the knife slowly melted like butter, then he drank it and left. At a crossroads, he transferred his consciousness into the corpse of a dead elephant and was carried to the cemetery, as a sign that I am a yogi. He said to Shantipa, "Great scholar, are you unwilling to show miracles?" Shantipa replied, "What do people like me need? But if you want to do it, then do it." Some people carrying water pots arrived, and he recited some mantras over the water, and all the water turned into molten gold. It is said that he gave the gold to the Sangha and the Brahmins. After that, Naropa guarded the North Gate for several years and then departed for the realm of yoga. After that, Sthavira Bhadrapala took his place. Bhadrapala was one who, after accomplishing Avalokiteśvara, directly saw the deity and heard the Dharma.
