སློབ་དཔོན་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་། སློབ་དཔོན་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་། ༈ སློབ་དཔོན་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་ནི། སློབ་དཔོན་ཆོས་འབངས་ལས་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ཞིང་འདུལ་བ་ཉན། ཕྱོགས་གླང་ལས་སྡེ་སྣོད་ཡན་ལག་དང་བཅས་པ་ཉན་ཏེ་མཁས་པའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་མདོ་སྡེ་ཆེན་པོ་བརྒྱ་རྩ་ཞལ་འདོན་མཛད་པ། འཕགས་པ་ནམ་མཁའི་སྙིང་པོས་ཞལ་གཟིགས་ནས་རྟག་ཏུ་ཆོས་ཉན་པ། ཟླ་གྲགས་ཀྱི་རྗེས་སུ་ན་ལེནྡྲའི་མཁན་པོ་ཡང་མཛད། མུ་སྟེགས་ཀྱི་རྒོལ་བ་རྣམས་ཁྲོ་བོ་དབྱུག་སྔོན་གྱིས་བསྡིགས་ནས་ངག་གནོན་པར་བྱེད་པ་ཞིག་སྟེ། འདིས་དབུ་མ་བཞི་བརྒྱ་པ་ལ་རྣམ་རིག་ཏུ་བཀྲལ་བའི་འགྲེལ་པ་ཡང་མཛད་པ་སོགས་འགྲོ་ཕན་རྒྱ་ཆེ། མཐར་བཅུད་ལེན་གྱི་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྒྲུབ་ནས་ལྷའི་གནས་སུ་བཞུད་དོ། །ཞེས་གྲགས་སོ། །དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་ན་ལེནྡྲའི་མཁན་པོ་རྒྱལ་བའི་ལྷས་མཛད། དེའི་སློབ་མ་ཞི་བ་ལྷ་དང་བི་རུ་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། ། སློབ་དཔོན་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་།

导师法护。 导师法护。 ༈ 导师法护者，从导师法民处出家并听闻律藏，从陈那处听闻包括分支在内的论藏，成为精通百部大经的大学者。圣者虚空藏现身，恒常听闻佛法。在月称之后，也担任那烂陀寺的住持。是一位以忿怒尊青杖威胁外道论敌，令其缄默之人。此人还著有将《中观四百论》阐释为唯识宗的注释等，利益众生之事甚广。最终修成服食精华之成就，前往天界。如是传闻。其后，那烂陀寺的住持由胜天担任。其弟子为寂天和毗卢巴。 导师法护。

Teacher Dharmapala. Teacher Dharmapala. ༈ Teacher Dharmapala, he became a monk under the tutelage of Teacher Dharmabhata and listened to the Vinaya. He listened to the Abhidharma, including its branches, from Dignāga, becoming a great scholar proficient in a hundred major sutras. The noble Akashagarbha appeared to him, and he constantly listened to the Dharma. After Chandrakirti, he also served as the abbot of Nalanda Monastery. He was one who silenced the Tirthika opponents by threatening them with the wrathful deity Blue Staff. He also wrote a commentary that explained the Four Hundred Verses on the Middle Way as being of the Mind-Only school, and his benefit to beings was vast. Finally, he accomplished the siddhi of extracting the essence and departed to the realm of the gods. So it is said. After him, Gyalwai Lha served as the abbot of Nalanda. His disciples were Shantideva and Virupa. Teacher Dharmapala.
