This is a teaching on the extensive and concise incense offering, which is necessary and indispensable in all occasions when engaging in the practice and activities of the Swift-Acting Wisdom Protector. First, the extensive incense offering: Gather all eight incense ingredients. On a platform smeared with good fragrance, draw a lotus with eight different petals. In the center of it, place a large butter lamp made of refined butter. In the eight petals, place eight skull cups or precious vessels without cracks. In the east, place mustard seeds; in the south, garlic; in the west, red lotus; in the north, aconite poison; in the northeast, a blood-stained knife; in the southeast, large pieces of meat; in the southwest, molasses; and in the northwest, musk. First, purify the incense with the practice and recitation of the deity. From emptiness, in the skull cup, the letter Saṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，saṃ，集) etc., the first letters of their respective names, adorned with bindus (藏文，梵文天城体，bindu，点), or if you do not know them individually, the letter Dhaṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，dhaṃ，达) transforms into light, from which arises the vajra incense substance, capable of accomplishing activities such as invoking and fulfilling the heart commitment, without any obstruction, each with its own nature and function, marked with the letter Hūṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，hūṃ，吽) on top. From the Hūṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，hūṃ，吽) letter at the heart of oneself, visualized as the deity, and on top of the substances, rays of light like iron hooks emanate, inviting the nectar of wisdom from the hearts of the wrathful deities and wrathful goddesses of the ten directions, which continuously dissolves into the eight substances. Believe in this way. Recite Oṃ Śrī Mahākāla Dhūpe Ni Siddha Jaḥ Jaḥ (藏文，梵文天城体，oṃ śrī mahākāla dhūpe ni siddha jaḥ jaḥ，嗡 希 玛哈嘎拉 杜贝 尼 悉达 扎 扎) one hundred and eight times, etc. Then recite Oṃ Vajra Mahākālāya Du Prati Ghina Naṃ Uya Pari Kratī Pūri Du Ati Ta Na Iti Tite De Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ Phaṭ Svāhā (藏文，梵文天城体，oṃ vajra mahākālāya du prati ghina naṃ uya pari kratī pūri du ati ta na iti tite de hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ svāhā，嗡 班杂 玛哈嘎拉 杜 扎地 额那 南 欧亚 巴日 嘎日地 布日 杜 阿地 达 那 额地 地 地 德 吽 吽 啪 啪 梭哈) a thousand and eight times for the best, one hundred and one times for the medium, and five times for the least, and bless them. Then, grind the eight substances of the directions and intermediate directions while reciting the Śāsana (藏文，梵文天城体，śāsana，教令) and the two mantras mentioned above. Make pills the size of the largest peas with the essence of the inner offering that contains nectar pills and has been blessed. Invoke, fulfill, confess, and empower the ḍākinīs.

These substances can be made with substitutes for brown sugar and musk, namely feces and brain. It is also said that all substances should be visualized as the Protector, offered and praised, then visualized as dissolving into light, and then each substance should be meditated upon separately. Furthermore, in the small incense mixture formula, place human flesh in the center of a black mandala, garlic on the right, three chilies on the left, a bloody knife in front, mustard seeds in the back, and black guggul and various mixed black ka-tse incense in all the corners.
