Furthermore, if you wish to practice the meditation and recitation of the Bhagavan Medicine Buddha, take refuge and generate bodhicitta. In your heart, on top of a moon disc arising from the letter 'Ah,' the blue light of the syllable 'Om' radiates and gathers, and you yourself become the Medicine Buddha, with lapis lazuli light like the sky. The right hand makes the gesture of supreme giving, holding an arura fruit; the left hand rests in meditative equipoise, holding a lapis lazuli bowl filled with nectar. Complete with all marks and signs, adorned in the attire of a nirmanakaya, seated in the vajra posture on a lotus and moon cushion. In your heart, on the moon, the blue 'Om' syllable, with its light, invites the wisdom beings to dissolve into it. Vajra Samaja (བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ，vajra samājaḥ，Vajra Samaja, Diamond Assembly). Jah Hum Bam Hoh (ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བྃ་ཧོཿ，jaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ，Jah Hum Bam Hoh, Invite, Merge, Stabilize, Bless). To the right, a white deity appears like the moon; to the left, a red deity appears like the sun. Adorned with the complete ornaments of the sambhogakaya, they make the gesture of folded hands, standing on a lotus and moon disc. Your own three places are marked with the three syllables. In your heart, on the moon, around the syllable 'Om,' the mantra garland rotates clockwise, and with its light, all sins, obscurations, illnesses, and demonic influences are purified. Begin with this long mantra once, and then recite the short mantra beginning with Om Bhaishajye (ཨོཾ་བྷཻ་ཥ་ཛྱེ་，oṃ bhaiṣajye，Om Medicine) as much as possible. Finally, from your own body, the wisdom beings are invited out and abide in the sky. Offer the seven-branch prayer extensively, like in the Bhadracarya Pranidhana, or recite the prostrations, etc. Pray to the Bhagavan Medicine Guru, King of Lapis Lazuli Light, to purify and cleanse immediately all illnesses, demonic influences, sins, obscurations, and habitual tendencies of myself and all other sentient beings. Make this supplication, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra, and Vajra Muh (བཛྲ་མུཿ，vajra muḥ，Vajra Muh) the wisdom beings depart. It is extremely profound for purifying karmic obscurations, and merely holding its name cuts off the door to the lower realms, etc., its benefits are limitless.
