The qualities of the earth are exceedingly superior! Those who are inseparable from the Buddhas themselves, Nourished by the nectar of the teachings, Are the basis of all the qualities of heaven and liberation. Free from the defilement of promiscuity, without arrogance, May the three types of discipline be perfected. Free from the faults of wrongdoing, possessing good qualities, Enjoying happiness, prosperity, wealth, beauty, and youth. Inviting the perfect virgin as a precious guest. May the Dharma and political power flourish, may there be auspiciousness! On the second right, Even millions of protectors cannot shake, The Arhat who subdues afflictions, abiding in the form of a monk, The qualities of the Three Jewels are all gathered, in the minds of others, Generating qualities, those who possess splendor, Blessing with their heart's intention, Becoming a gathering of peace, the supreme of all ascetic practices. Abandoning the mind of anger, repaying harm with benefit, May the perfection of patience be fulfilled. Extensive learning, vast Dharma wisdom, fulfilling all desires, A rich treasury of jewels, the radiance of liberation shines. Possessing the glory of the four classes, the precious householder, May the abundance of effortless wealth be auspicious! On the second left, Victorious over afflictions, unmoved by enemies, Acting as a Bodhisattva in the form of a Hearer. Holding and propagating the Buddha's teachings, Protecting the Dharma without decline, the great Dharma protectors, May I perfect their qualities, Becoming the cause of higher realms and definite goodness, Free from the fault of laziness, with a steadfast, joyful, and courageous mind, May the perfection of diligence be fulfilled. The peak of view is high, the limbs of meditation are stable, Possessing shame, virtuous conduct, covered with a golden net. Bearing the burden of the Great Vehicle, a herd of supreme Sangha elephants, May they spread throughout the earth, may there be auspiciousness! On the third right, The refuge that protects from all sins, obscurations, and fears, Seeing all knowable things without obstruction, the all-knowing one. Content with little desire, abandoning the household, becoming the most supreme, Becoming a field of merit, those who live on alms, May I accomplish their deeds as they are, Becoming the basis for the arising of countless doors of Samadhi. Free from distraction and confusion, unwavering in any way, May the perfection of the three types of meditation be fulfilled. May auspiciousness bring forth whatever glories are desired, like a supreme steed traversing in a single instant! ༈ In the third on the left, the incarnate one who holds the victory banner of the Sage's teachings, the supreme accumulation of qualities and precious jewels, dispelling the darkness of ignorance for beings by bestowing the three trainings, the great lamps of the teachings who establish [beings]! May they take hold of all births and spontaneously accomplish the two benefits. Uprooting the foundation of existence from the root of ignorance, realizing without delusion whatever exists, just as it is, may the three wisdoms cross over to the other shore! Skilled and brave in the comings and goings of the path of cause and effect, destroying the hosts of the enemy of ignorance with the weapon of wisdom, attaining the glory of the ten powers, supreme victory from all directions for the precious general! May auspiciousness prevail! These words were earnestly requested by Yangchen, the Dharma official of Kanam Depa, the ruler of the hidden land of Powo Rong (སྤུ་བོ་རོང་), as a colophon for the seven sets of gold thangkas of the Buddha and the sixteen Arhats. Combining the twenty names of the Arhats, which were already widely known, and the auspicious prayers of the six perfections and the seven noble riches, for the sake of auspicious interdependence, it was composed by Lodro Thaye (བློ་གྲོས་མཐའ་ཡས། Infinite Wisdom).
