Together with the elucidating text on the practice of the six-syllable essence, personally bestowed by the Great Compassionate One upon the accomplished master Thangtong Gyalpo. Om Mani Padme Hum (藏文:ཨོཾ་མ་ི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Om Mani Padme Hum). Here, the heart essence of the six syllables, personally bestowed by the Yidam Great Compassionate One upon the great accomplished one. Gathered into one secret treasury of all the dharmas, the method of practice is to offer prayers to the Mother of Space as much as possible at the beginning of the session. Turn the whip of mindfulness inward. When the realms of the six destinies of karma and appearance are well examined, all the appearances of the parents of the six realms are of an untrue and false nature. First, examine the complete renunciation that knows that it has not escaped the mire of sorrow and suffering. Again, when looking at each detail, hell has hot and cold roasting and burning, hungry ghosts have hunger and thirst, animals have killing and exploitation, gods have death and transference, demigods have fighting, and humans experience the four rivers of birth, old age, sickness, and death. Thinking that this is accomplished, apply the single memory that definitely arises in samsara to your own face. Again, with the whip of mindfulness on the flowing face of self, when examining the state of human affairs of one's own appearance, in general, it falls into the category of the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death. In particular, due to the power of one's own faults, one reaches the precipice of the four extremes of compounded things, and in the end, gathering leads to separation, accumulation leads to exhaustion, height leads to lowliness, and at the end of birth, one will die uncertainly. Always generate a definite understanding of this. In this way, when the whip of impermanence and mindfulness strikes the heart, renunciation and faith arise violently. Alas! How can I, with this momentary appearance of a human body like a daytime star, accomplish a great virtue through the door of the body? How can I speak through the door of speech to strive for the purity that benefits others? How can I think through the door of the mind to transform it into a virtue that pervades all sentient beings? In this way, may the three doors of body, speech, and mind serve the benefit of sentient beings.

Generating vast intentions and actions. In order to accomplish these purposes, thinking of praying to the deity Lord Avalokiteśvara, I enter into the all-pervading visualization: On the crown of the head of all sentient beings in the six realms, including myself, is a white lotus and a moon seat, and from the seed syllable HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉字字面意思:啥) arises the noble Avalokiteśvara, the Lord of Compassion, whose body color is as white as the autumn moon, as clear as a crystal jewel, radiating fivefold immaculate light. All dharmas are of one taste in suchness, hence one face. Possessing all-encompassing love and compassion, hence possessing a radiant smile. With pure eyes gazing in six times, hence possessing eyes that are as wide open as the petals of a lotus. The Buddhas of the ten directions and three times urge him to work for the benefit of sentient beings, hence the first two hands are joined in prayer at the heart. Compassion is непрекращающийся, hence the second right hand holds a crystal rosary of one hundred and eight beads, appearing to be counting them. Not stained by the mud of self-interest, hence the second left hand holds a white lotus with its stem. With a fine skirt of modesty and shame, adorned with a jeweled belt. Compassion and emptiness are united, hence seated in the vajra posture. Adorned with eight precious ornaments of the nature of the eight liberations. Possessing the demeanor of great compassion, hence the upper body is covered with a deerskin. In order to show the object of prayer, his own guru Amitabha beautifully adorns the hair knot. The cool rays of great compassion pacify the heat of afflictions, hence a screen of immaculate full moon. Connected with the practices of meditation, hence having clearly established the generation stage, I and all sentient beings pray with one voice: Lord, your body is white and immaculate, The complete Buddha is your crown ornament, With compassionate eyes you gaze upon beings, I prostrate and praise Avalokiteśvara. Through the power of reciting this, light radiates from the body of the noble one. Touching all vessels and contents, Purifying the appearances of impure perceptions, The outer world becomes a palace, And the inner beings, all parts

All appearances, the mandala of the empty body; sounds, the mandala of the empty speech; clarity, the mandala of the empty mind—connected to the vast samadhi that transforms into these, and combined with the time of reciting the six-syllable mantra. At the end of the session, in the self-nature of the Lord of Great Compassion, the deity Tathagatagarbha, which is the meaning of dharmata, combine with the expression of naked awareness, without any loss of the bliss consumed by the mind, completely cut off the causes of grasping and clinging, and rest naturally and evenly in the state of great liberation. In between sessions, diligently engage in virtuous actions of body, speech, and mind, universally inspired by compassion, and expand them with dedication and aspiration prayers. The lineage is as follows: the deity Jowo Great Compassionate One, the great accomplished Thangtong Gyalpo, Kunpang Rinpoche, and from him to me. Jamyang Kunga Drolchok. Note. Sarva dā maṅgalaṃ. (Sanskrit, sarva dā maṅgalaṃ, May there be auspiciousness always.) The essence of the six-syllable mantra practice and its explanation, truly bestowed by the Great Compassionate One to the accomplished master Thangtong Gyalpo.
