The first is: Do not reveal this to anyone who is inferior in upward progression, anyone who delights in speculation, or anyone who is a true monk. The second has three parts: Yoga without signs, yoga with signs, and yoga with attachment. The first has two parts: Generating the samadhi that manifests one's own nature, and based on that, evoking the deity of one's own desire. The first is: For the yoga of tongue-tip palate union, the yogi should strive solely. The second is: In all directions of space and objects. In the transformation of the Great Translator Sonam Gyatso, the one shloka of "whoever progresses upward," and the two lines of "this space, etc." are missing. Note: The Buddha himself is always joyful, not a fragmented mandala, with what form does he pervade the stable and moving, with what does he show that state, homage to that glorious lama. The second, yoga with signs: One can also visualize the vajra sun in the heart, as if sowing a seed in a jewel. With the form of the wisdom mandala, make the three realms appear. The third, yoga with attachment, has three parts: For those with sharp faculties, union with the great mudra; for the transcendent ones, union with all four mudras; for the inferior ones, union with the karma mudra. The first is: Equal union with one mudra. The second is: Or union with four mudras. The third is: Even if entering the city of consorts, one should remember the illusory body.
