The Third Volume of the Instructions Treasury. The Third Volume of the Instructions Treasury. The root verses of the Great Vehicle's instructions, the Precious Kadampa Compendium, called "A Rosary of Jewels for a Bodhisattva." The treatise called "A Rosary of Jewels for a Bodhisattva," which is the root verses of the Great Vehicle's instructions, the Precious Kadampa Compendium. In Indian language: Bodhisattva Mani Apali. In Tibetan language: A Rosary of Jewels for a Bodhisattva. Homage to the Great Compassionate One! Homage to the Lamas! Homage to the deities of faith! All doubts should be abandoned, and diligence in practice should be cherished. Sleepiness, drowsiness, and laziness should be completely abandoned, and constant effort and diligence should be applied. With mindfulness and awareness, the doors of the senses should be constantly guarded. Day and night, three times and again, the mind's continuum should be examined. One's own faults should be proclaimed, and the faults of others should not be sought. One's own qualities should be concealed, and the qualities of others should be proclaimed. Gains and respect should be abandoned, and profit and fame should always be abandoned. Desire should be small, and contentment should be known, and gratitude should be shown for what has been done. Love and compassion should be cultivated, and the mind of enlightenment should be made firm. The ten non-virtues should be abandoned, and faith should always be made firm. Anger and pride should be destroyed, and one should possess a humble mind. Wrong livelihood should be abandoned, and one should live by the livelihood of Dharma. All material things should be abandoned, and one should be adorned with the wealth of the noble ones. All busyness should be abandoned, and one should dwell in solitude. Immoral words should be abandoned, and speech should always be restrained. When seeing a Lama or Khenpo, respect and service should be generated. For individuals with the eye of Dharma, and for sentient beings who are beginners, the perception of a teacher should be generated. When seeing all sentient beings, the perception of parents and children should be generated. Evil friends should be abandoned, and virtuous spiritual friends should be relied upon. Anger and unpleasant thoughts should be abandoned, and one should go where there is happiness. Attachment to anything should be abandoned, and one should abide without attachment. With attachment, even a good rebirth is not attained, and the life of liberation is also cut short.

Like a rabbit. Wherever you see the Dharma of happiness, you should always strive there. Whatever is started first, that first thing should be accomplished. If so, then everything is good. Otherwise, neither will be accomplished. Always separate from the joy of sin. When a high mind arises, at that time, arrogance should be crushed, and the Guru's instructions should be remembered. When a timid mind arises, the courage of the mind should be praised. Meditate on both as emptiness. When objects of attachment and aversion arise, view them as illusion and emanation. When unpleasant words are heard, view them as the sound of rocks. When harm comes to the body, view it as past karma. Reside diligently in a remote monastery, like the corpse of a dead animal. I shall conceal myself and abide without attachment. Always stabilize the Yidam. When laziness and carelessness arise in the mind, then count your own faults and remember the essence of diligence. If you see others, speak frankly in the field, abandon frowning and scowling, and always abide with a smile. When you see others regularly, be without stinginess and delight in generosity. Abandon all jealousy. When protecting the minds of others, abandon all disputes and always be patient. Be without flattery and without new acquaintances. Always be able to endure insults. Abandon contempt for others and abide with respect. When giving advice to others, be filled with compassion and altruism. Do not slander the Dharma, and generate desire for whatever is pleasing. Through the door of the ten practices of Dharma, strive day and night without laziness. Dedicate all the merit accumulated in the three times to the unsurpassed Great Enlightenment. Bestow the merit on all sentient beings. Always make the great prayer of the seven branches. By doing so, the two accumulations of merit and wisdom will be perfected. The two obscurations will also be exhausted, and having obtained a human body will be meaningful, and unsurpassed Enlightenment will be attained. The wealth of faith and the wealth of discipline, the wealth of giving and the wealth of learning, the wealth of shame and conscience, the seven wealths of wisdom itself, these noble wealths are the seven inexhaustible wealths, not human.
