Third, the chapter on showing the metaphors of Bodhicitta. Third, the chapter on showing the metaphors of Bodhicitta. Everything is gathered into Bodhicitta. Since there is no Dharma other than Bodhicitta, all Dharmas are the nature of Bodhicitta. The metaphor of Bodhicitta is like the sky. Since the mind has no cause and no place of birth, it is non-abiding, beyond words, and beyond thought. It is only exemplified by the realm of the sky. If the metaphor itself cannot be said to be "this," how can there be thought or speech about the meaning of the metaphor? This should be understood as an example of self-nature purity. The meaning is self-aware, space-like Bodhicitta. It is not an object of thought, it is beyond expression, self-luminous, unmoving, and a vast expanse of light. Unmade, spontaneously accomplished, without wide or narrow, high or low. The mandala of Dharmakaya, the essence of Bodhicitta, is vast. The sign is that anything arises from its energy. When it arises, there is no place of arising, no one who arises. If we examine only the name "arising," it is like the sky. It is all-encompassing in the great equality without bias. It is a realm of flatness without grasping or fixation. Self-born wisdom, the nature of reality pervades all directions. The definitive metaphors of example, meaning, and sign have been shown. In the nature of the three great essentials, which are equal to space, everything is gathered, and there is no distinction in nature. In the womb of the vast, equal, and expansive realm, everything is primordially equal, without before, after, or in between. It is the intention of Kunsang Vajrasattva. Bodhicitta is like the essence of the sun. Naturally luminous, it has been present from the beginning, uncreated. There is no obscuring dharma, transparent and spontaneously accomplished. Without the multitude of elaborations, it is the natural state of non-conceptualization. Emptiness is Dharmakaya, clarity is Sambhogakaya. The radiant Nirmanakaya, the three bodies are inseparable. Since the qualities have been spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, it is not obscured by the darkness of faults and shortcomings. Without before, after, or the three times, it is unchangingly one. It pervades all Buddhas and sentient beings as one. This is called self-born Bodhicitta. Its energy manifests in everything, with conceptualization and without conceptualization, the world of appearances and existence, the container and its contents, and the various appearances of beings. Even though all of this arises, its nature is unimpeded, like the water of a mirage and the sound and image of a dream.

Mere appearance, without peace or support, is momentary. Understand it as a dharma in occasional intervals. From the nature of spontaneously accomplished bodhicitta, Unceasing displays of samsara and nirvana arise. Since all those displays are absorbed into the expanse, Know that there is no movement from the original state. Here, everything is the nature of bodhicitta. One perfection is all perfection; without effort, all meanings are perfected. Self-existing wisdom, spontaneously perfect in nature. Although bodhicitta is without dharma in appearance and non-appearance, samsara and nirvana, inner and outer, By the nature moved by its power, Various displays of existence, samsara, and nirvana arise. As soon as it arises, it is the form of emptiness in nature. It appears to arise from the unborn, But at the time of appearance, there is no arising at all. Although it appears to cease from the unceasing, The unceasing is the form of illusory emptiness. From the moment of abiding, there is no dharma of abiding, No abider, no basis, a state without going or coming. Since it does not exist as it appears, It is merely labeled as without nature. That appearance also arises spontaneously from power, So it is merely called interdependence, a conventional term for nature. From the moment of its own arising, appearing from power, There is no direction or distinction between arising and not arising. The power is also merely a term, with no essence at all, So everything is always in a state of unchanging. There is not a particle of movement from bodhicitta. From the Treasury of Dharmadhatu Jewel, the third chapter, Showing Examples of Bodhicitta, is complete. The nature of the all-encompassing bodhicitta is: Chapter Three: Showing Examples of Bodhicitta.
