Publication Explanation Publication Explanation This book, "The Precious Treasury of Dharma Origins - The Sunlight Illuminating the Teachings," written by Omniscient Longchen Rabjam, is a compilation of Sutras, Tantras, Treatises, Major and Minor Royal Histories, Padma's Testament, the Great Net of Illusion, and catalogs of both Sutras and Tantras. It is a newly compiled and easily understandable work, selected from all new and old Dharma origins. It has ten main points, each with the characteristic of being clear and easy to understand in its content. In particular, it meticulously records the titles of the translated scriptures and commentaries in Tibet, as well as who the authors were. Secondly, it clearly records the titles and volumes translated by which translator and where. Thirdly, it clearly explains the differences, boundaries, and reasons for the Great and Small Vehicles, Sutras and Tantras, Early and Later Translations, and clearly demonstrates the lineage. Fourthly, it provides detailed biographies of famous translators such as Guru Padmasambhava and the translator Vairochana. Fifthly, it not only describes the religious and political situations of each period but also engages in rigorous debates on many issues with sharp scriptural and logical proofs, thereby clearly demonstrating the unerring view. In short, this Dharma origin is superior to other historical Dharma origins, not like leaves covering fruit, and similarly, the description of the formation and destruction of the world is also explained in a concise manner. In summary, this Dharma origin has the advantage of being coherent from beginning to end, with no contradictory content and complete components. Another reason for publishing this historical Dharma origin is that Jetsunma Ngawang, a disciple of Kye Me Dorje, and others had previously carved woodblocks in Tsang Rinpung, but before they had time to oil the woodblocks, due to turmoil and upheaval, the woodblocks were hidden in the mountains. However, due to rotting and other reasons, about two-thirds were damaged, and nowadays only one or two can be seen, so this book has become very rare.

During the editing process, there were many writing errors in the use of suffixes and spelling errors in the Kham handwritten manuscript.
