With the force of compassion as your motivation, recite the following: In boundless realms, your activity is vast, Protector of beings, possessing the ten powers, Together with your sons, the bodhisattvas, I take refuge and open the door to benefit and happiness for all beings who have been my mothers. (Recite three times) In the empty sky of the dharmadhatu, Miraculous displays of compassion appear like rainbows, On a vast throne with five faces, Upon a lotus and moon cushion, Here reside the thirty-five sugata buddhas, Foremost among the four guides, free from attachment, Radiating the splendor of marks and signs, With vast displays of various forms, Supreme emanations cloaked in maroon robes, From the joyous feast of vast realization and abandonment, The sixty melodies of Brahma proclaim profound and extensive dharma, Wisdom and love equal to the sky, Skillfully taming and guiding beings, Surrounded by a retinue of countless bodhisattva sons, In the presence of those who dwell in pure realms, Starting with my root parents and all connected beings, Especially those tormented by karma and afflictions, May they and all of us abide in auspicious places, Emanating bodies as numerous as dust motes, prostrating with reverence, All the negative karma accumulated since beginningless time, With shame, I vow to abstain from evil and cultivate virtue, From the depths of my heart, I confess with intense remorse, Representing this, all the merit accumulated by myself and others, Just as the buddhas and bodhisattvas of the past made vast aspirations for the benefit of beings, I, too, today, completely dedicate it. At this time, after reciting the Sutra of the Three Heaps to the best of your ability, With this pure virtuous action, And whatever virtue is created by noble and ordinary beings, Especially parents and connected beings, May they all rejoice and follow, From the deep ocean of samsara, Soon, through the power of the peaceful and cool dharma, May the fortunate ones awaken to joy in their hearts, Relying on the excellent path of liberation, May they be freed from the tight bonds of existence. I realize a new realm, like the glorious radiance of the sun. May it flourish in every way, dispel the darkness of ignorance, and fully master the state of the four *kayas* (sku bzhi'i go 'phang, 四身果位). The activity of the Buddhas and their retinue is infallible, may all my aspirations be perfectly fulfilled. May pure appearances gather into the *Dharma wheel* (chos kyi 'khor lo, 法轮), and may the three circles be placed in the great expanse of emptiness, free from focus. This concise reading compilation of the *Sutra of the Three Aggregates*, called *Light of Benefit for Beings*, was quickly written by Mati Kirti at the request of the supremely wise incarnation Karma Sangkyong Tashi.
