The root Guru is a treasure of compassion, arising from the wisdom of all Buddhas. In the form of a Bhikshu Vajradhara, possessing the excellent name Lodro Gyatso. His body is white-reddish, radiating light, wearing the three robes of a monk. One face, two hands, teaching the Dharma at his heart. Sitting in the vajra posture, marked with four letters in four places. Clear as the essence of all refuges combined. I prostrate with reverence to the supreme Guru. I offer all the assemblies of offerings, confess sins and downfalls. I rejoice in virtue, turn the wheel of Dharma. I beseech you not to pass into sorrow, but to remain forever. May this virtue merge your mind with mine, without wavering from your vast vision. May your blessings swiftly transfer to me. Glorious and virtuous Guru, spiritual friend, I pray to Lodro Gyatso. Look upon my being with your blessings and compassion. Guide me to your pure land in the future. (After reciting the four-line prayer as much as possible) From the letters at the Guru's place, rays of white, red, blue, and yellow light radiate. 9-116 These lights perfectly dissolve into my four places, purifying obscurations and obtaining the blessings of the four empowerments. Then, the Guru dissolves into a mass of light, merging into the crown of my head. In the sphere of light of the bindu at the center of my heart, the blessings become extremely stable. By this pure white accumulation of merit, may I perfectly accomplish the sacred Dharma in this life. May the Guru's blessings enter my heart, and may I be liberated from samsara before long!
