First, begin with the general secret ritual, from 'Self-generation as Vajra' etc., up to reciting 'Sumbhani' seven times. Then, from the lineage supplication onwards, offer the preliminary Torma. Again, from the general secret ritual, recite 'Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ Ha Na Ha Na Krodha Hūṃ Phaṭ' many times. Finally, enter from the blessing of offerings, from refuge up to the complete self-generation, abbreviated. Then, from the general ritual, recite 'Oṃ Vajra Amṛta' etc., one hundred and eight times. Here, if the self-generation has not been done, then bless the inner offering, and that is sufficient. Then, recite 'Oṃ Vajra Amṛta' once, and then recite the three syllables twenty-one times. After blessing the offerings, from the general ritual, recite the five sets of mantras for blessing the burnt offerings three times each, and then recite the three syllables once. Recite Amṛta twice in sequence, etc., up to the establishment of the fire deity's commitment, according to the main text of the fire offering. Then, at the heart of the fire deity, there is Hūṃ etc., visualized completely. From 'Oṃ Agnaye', recite up to 'Shambu' seven times. Again, recite that mantra three times, and again recite that mantra about twenty-one times, and finally recite 'Oṃ Agnaye' once. Up to that point is the offering to the fire deity. Then, the offering to the deceased deity is as follows: purify with Amṛta, cleanse with Svabhāva.
