Collected Teachings of Ngawang Kunga Lodro NKL104: A Record of Added Items for Relic-Filling 4-425 ༄༅། །A Record of Added Items for Relic-Filling ༄༅། །A record of added items for relic-filling during the restoration of the Khon Kumbum (Khon Family Stupa) at Yaylung Jakhong. On the 16th day of the 4th month of the Fire Ox year, during the restoration of the Khon Kumbum at Yaylung Jakhong, the following relics were offered: A gilded copper Shakyamuni Buddha statue, about one cubit high; small statues of the five supreme Sakya forefathers made from sacred substances; a slightly larger statue of the master and the three attendants; a statue named Mangga; a statue of Amitabha Buddha and the three attendants, slightly smaller; a statue of the accomplished Thangtong Gyalpo; a statue of Amitayus; a statue of Akshobhya; a statue of Atisha; a Tsa-Tsa; a statue of Bhairava; a small statue of Virupa; a statue of White Tara; a statue of Avalokiteshvara; a statue of Vajrasattva; and a statue of Gur Mahakala, all made from sacred substances. Additionally, there was a statue of Khechara made from the sacred bone ash of the noble 'Phags-pa; a statue of Vajrapani made from the bone ash of Sakya Pandita; a statue of Jetsun Drakpa made from the bone ash of Jamyang Sonam Wangchuk; a statue of Khechara made from the bone ash of Lhatso Tenpa Rabgye; a statue of Amitayus made from the bone ash of Thartse Dorje Chang; a statue of Green Tara made from the bone ash of Yabje Dorje Chang; and a statue of Khechara made from the bone ash of Losal Tenzin Gyaltsen. 4-426 A statue of Red Yamari made from the bone ash of Jetsunma Kunga Tenpai Nyima; and statues of Yogeshvara Tara and Avalokiteshvara. Additionally, there were nine statues of Amitayus, and a sacred clay pellet made from the bone ash of Athe Drung; and twenty-one tsampa pills mixed with various blessings. ༈ །Furthermore, regarding hair: there was hair from U Yukpa Rigpai Senge; hair from the great mantra holder Kase Tenrab; hair from the mantra holder Drak Lo during his three-year retreat; hair from the dakini substitute of Khenchen Palden Tashi Khyentse; hair from Khenchen Ngawang Chodrak; and hair from Yabje Dampa himself. ༈ །Regarding robes: there was a meditation cloak from the accomplished Thangtong Gyalpo; pieces of inner practice robes and Dharma robes from Chogyal Phagpa; a piece of a belt from Sakya Pandita; a piece of a hat from Khache Panchen; robes from Ngorchen; robes from Buton; robes from Choje Lama; robes from Panchen Nakrin; robes from Rongton; robes from Konchok Phel; robes from Drenmok Salo; robes from Khenchen Ngawang Chodrak; robes from Khyentse Wangchuk; robes from Zhonnu Lodro; and robes from the mantra holder Ame Zhabs. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
