༄༅། །The biography of Chödag Guru Jo-ber. From the cloudless sky, the sun of compassion rises. Dispelling the darkness of ignorance and delusion, in the state of neither permanence nor annihilation, awareness blazes like light. Fortunate ones are placed on the Buddha ground in this very life. I praise with reverence the Dharma Lord Guru. This is a brief biography of Dharma Lord Guru Joo-ber. His father was Zla-ba 'bum, the younger brother of Lama Khenpo Nyi-'bum, and his mother was Queen A-lu. He was born as their son. Until the age of seven, he was like a mute. After seven, his wisdom became unobstructed, and he had no hindrance in anything. From the age of eight to eighteen, he listened to all the tantras, including the supreme secret empowerments and instructions, from his kind uncle Zhang Nyi-'bum, and gave explanations of the Sound Tantra. From the age of nineteen to twenty, he listened to the teachings, including the instructions of the three tantras, and the Dechok Maljo tradition from Chöje Sakya Lotsawa. After that, he listened to the Tsema Düpa from Geshe Chu-mig-pa. At the age of twenty-two, he listened to all the instructions of the Siddha Mitra Dzwa-ki from Lama Khro-phu-ba. He listened to the instructions of Mahamudra Khathaor from the Nepalese Drakpa 'Bum-me. In general, the completion of hearing, contemplation, and meditation, and the attainment of certainty were accomplished before the age of thirty-six. He relied on many lamas who were merely connected by Dharma, such as Jowo Zang, who were well-versed in Dharma. Regarding the appearance of deities, he said that he saw all the deity thangkas, clay sculptures, and bronze statues. However, he clearly said that in Lhasa, when he went to offer butter lamps to Jowo and prayed, five-colored rainbows arose from Jowo's face, and in the rainbows, he saw the faces of Vajrapani parents and Avalokiteshvara. Also, once, at dawn, he saw Amitayus surrounded by rainbows and shimmering lights. This may be his merit. We are not just a long-life lineage, but everything is fine now. Otherwise, the state of the self-arisen lamp of clear light is also like that. We father and son have such Dharma, so there is no worry about life, he said, and his body remained in the unchanging state of great bliss. His voice did not cease.

现在宣讲了究竟意义的法。心性明澈，于空性离边中获得确信。兔年秋季首月十五圆寂，七日间与虹光网相连。出现舍利和ཨཱཿ（藏文，梵文天城体：आ，梵文罗马拟音：ā，汉语字面意思：阿），ཧཱུྃ་（藏文，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽）等。唉玛！稀有奇妙且兴盛之法，断绝六道轮回之流，此生中，于轮涅二者的希望与恐惧中解脱，刹那间，究竟胜义的传承持有者，莲花生大士。「大自在者您示现智慧之光。完毕。」「从祖先的遗产中，龙钦饶绛的著作集。（四）法主古汝觉俄的传记。
