Herein lies what is called "The Playful Ocean Delighting the Heroic Deeds of the Great Field Protector." Appearing entirely within the great bliss wisdom wheel, At the border between Tibet and China, Tsari Kotra, The field protectors of the great charnel ground of Khechara, The unbearable Great Black One with the face of a lion. Fierce, violent, wondrous, radiant black one, Gayadhara, Vajra, supremely skilled in action, Hero of the three places, near lord of the ten grounds, Glorious flesh-eating lord, demon king with a garland of skulls, Secret great mother, lion-faced Sinara, Obedient poison weapon, sisters, and the eight haughty ones, All of you who in the past vowed before the Bhagavan Heruka, And before the horse-necked secret lord, Likewise, before the lotus skull garland wielding one, Mara Rika, Taktsang Chimphu, and In the great, silent, secret cave, having made vows, Remember the solemn promises and oaths. When I, the oath-bound yogi, invoke you, Come here without hindrance, swiftly, immediately, Dza! Sit upon the pleasing seat conjured by samadhi. I prostrate to the deities in order to unite the oaths. Outer offerings of close use, inner offerings of the five desirable qualities, Secret medicine torma and rakta offerings, and Especially the substances for enjoyment of the Tana Gana, I offer immeasurable, sky-filling offerings, please accept them. Substances for harmony: the flesh, blood, bones, and feet of the slain, The brain, vasu, citta, and the five senses, I offer them, please accept them with joy, dispel obstacles, and Grant me all the siddhis that are in harmony. Hūṃ（藏文，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Seed syllable） Bhyoḥ（藏文，梵文天城体：भ्यो，梵文罗马拟音：bhyo，汉语字面意思：Hey/Exclamation）! From the beginning, unwavering, Victorious Samantabhadra, The inner radiance, Heruka, the dance of great glory, Appearing as the emanation, the body of the Great Field Protector, I prostrate and praise the great black, fierce one. In the definitive meaning, you are Heruka himself, For the sake of protecting the teachings of the Victorious Ones, you take the form of action, You who wield the untamed lion face, the power of wrath, I praise you, the slayer of gyal 'gong and Chinese demons. The non-dual great mother, surrounded by a garland of blazing flames, The red lion-faced one, the lord of the three realms, The obedient sisters, the eight classes of gods and demons, etc., I prostrate and praise you together with your powerful retinue. Accept this oath substance, dzagar torma offering, Subdue those who harm me, humans and non-humans. Turn back all black magic and curses. Subjugate the three realms.

祈愿大地如意降下甘霖！赐予四种事业自然成就、八大成就等。消除修行道上的违缘障碍。生生世世亲近的怙主您，请毫不懈怠地成办菩提事业！这是应宁玛派教法的阐明者卓普巴·白玛昆色尊者之劝请，立即在擦日扎多仓绒，由华·策旺诺布书写，时为火蛇年（1917）仲夏月上弦初三。吉祥圆满！此乃匆忙书写之文字，仅具外形而已，其他又如何呢？这是隐士延巴洛德在多仓山脚下的茅屋中（写下的）。如是，于至尊度母派手书之纸上，详尽地抄录于此。 大田主的利生事业，勇士欢喜的嬉戏之海。

May the earth be showered with desired rains! Grant the spontaneous accomplishment of the four activities, the eight great attainments, and so forth. Pacify all obstacles and hindrances on the path to enlightenment. May you, the protector who is always near in all lifetimes, tirelessly accomplish the activities of attaining enlightenment! This was written by Pal Tshewang Norbu in Tsari Tratom Tsangrong, prompted by the exhortation of Drolphukpa Pema Kunsal, the elucidator of the Nyingma teachings, immediately upon request, on the third day of the waxing moon in the month of midsummer in the Fire Snake year (1917). May it be auspicious! This is a letter written in great haste, merely resembling the form of writing. What else could it be? This was (written) by the hermit Yenpa Lodé in a small hut at the foot of Domtsang. Thus, this detailed copy was made on a sheet (of paper) from the handwriting of Jetsun Drolma. The vast field-tilling activities, an ocean of play that delights the heroes.
